Delano visibly relaxed at Lina's answer. "That's good then," he said, "so we won't have to avoid her all the time." He grinned. "Just most." He fell quiet then, deciding what to do. He was beginning to feel sleepy, but still didn't want to go inside the den. So instead, he closed his eyes and leaned on Lina, allowing her to hold him up.

Lina chuckled, "Oh come on, it's not that bad, you'll get used to it." it might take Delano sometime, but he will get used to his mother-in-law's behavior eventually. She didn't have any problem with him leaning against her the way he was, but the problem was that he got quite heavy for her as the time passed. Instead, not wanting to move too much, she went ahead and lay down slowly so that Delano rested on her without her having to carry his weight.

Delano nearly fell over when Lina moved, but he then lay down next to her and covered her body with his own, protecting her from the cold as well as using her to stay war himself. By now, they might as well go into the den, but he didn't fell like moving, and he found that laying with Lina out in the open like this was rather nice.

With both Delano's body covering her and the grass to lie down on Lina could barely feel the cold wind around them, and as a result of that she began to get sleepy at some point. She didn't really know how much time have passed but she felt somebody nudge her. She looked up and saw her mother looking down at her, with Moto standing some distance behind her. At first she expected some tease or jest, but her mother said, "Don't fall asleep out here alright? It can get even colder out here in the night." she knew that well because of all the time she and Moto had spend traveling.

Lina smiled at her mother, "Don't worry mom, we won't take long." she continued to smile as she watched her parents enter the den. After they were gone she chuckled and said to Delano, "See? I told you that not everything she says is a tease." perhaps they really should go inside so to not risk falling asleep out here, but the way Lina saw it as long as they are busy doing anything like talking they will be able to stay awake.

Delano shook his head a little to try and clear it up. Truth be told, he nearly did fall asleep just now. "Alright, let's go inside then," he muttered, grateful that Fadhili did in fact have something useful to say for once. "And you're right: your mother doesn't tease us whenever she can." He looked at where Fadhili and Moto walked off to. "Not that I mind it."

He slowly pushed himself up, getting up so that they will be able to walk back to the den. "Alright, let's go inside the den. Otherwise we might really risk falling asleep out here," he told Lina as he helped her up as well.

Lina chuckled. Delano might have just said that he did not mind her mother's occasional jests, but just a few moments ago he was trying to come up with a way to tease her back. Not that Lina cared, but it was somewhat amusing to suddenly hear him say that he didn't mind it. She looked a little upset about them having to move and get back inside because she was rather comfy in the position she and Delano were just in, but she knew that inside the den it will be even cozier. Plus she didn't really want to fall asleep outside, mainly out of concern for how it will effect Delano rather than herself because she had him to protect her from the cold while he was more exposed to it. She silently walked inside with her might, lying down next to him in their usual spot.

Delano walked inside the den with Lina, and lay down at his usual spot. He smiled when Lina snuggled up against him, and brought her closer to him by dragging her over with a paw. Sure, he wished that they could have stayed outside, but as he let out a long yawn, he knew that now was as good of a time to be in the den as any. "Good night, Lina," he whispered, giving her a loving lick before closing his eyes, "can't wait to spend tomorrow with you..." He yawned again, feeling very tired.

Lina went ahead and snuggled up against Delano like she did every night, purring when he put a paw around her and dragged her even closer to him. "Good night Delano." she whispered, settling her head down on Delano's comfortable mane and using it as a pillow but not before licking him back. If she could spend her entire life resting in Delano's warm mane she would do it. While it wasn't really a posibility, she could still use his mane when they weren't moving around. "Love you..." after licking him one more time she fell asleep.

Delano smiled when Lina licked him, enjoying the feeling of her as she rested her head on his mane. Her steady breathing told him that she was already asleep, and he rested his head on the ground, falling asleep soon afterwards as well.

The next morning, when he woke up, Delano blinked, looking around the den. It was still fairly dark out, and everyone else were asleep, so he didn't move anywhere. He did, however, reach over and give Lina a lick, and whispered to her, "I love you too." He remembered how right before she fell asleep, Lina had told him that, and he wanted to say it as well.

The next morning, when Lina woke up, it was the result of the lick Delano gave her. Despite the fact she was a heavy sleeper, his lick and whisper somewhat woke her up. She stirred for a few moments and then opened her eyes, seeing Delano staring at her. "Hey Delano..." she whispered weakly, stretching however much she could without needing to move away from him. After a few seconds of lying still, she looked towards the entrance of the den and noticed that the sun hadn't even begun to rise. "It's so early..." she complained, "Why did you wake me up so early?" her tone was accusing, as if Delano had just committed a horrible crime. She sighed before dropping her head back onto his mane and burying her face in it.
