Delano smiled at Lina. "Yeah, I'm sure," he told her, "especially now," he hugged her as well, feeling much warmer with her. With Lina embracing him, the cold was much less of an annoyance now, and Delano was glad that he was outside now with her. "Isn't it better when it's just the two of us?" he asked her, "I know it's cold... but it's not that big of a deal." Delano grinned. "Besides, you're warm enough."

Umeme giggled at Muroki's; comments. "Aw, come on, you don't need to say that!" but her face betrayed her, clearly showing how she enjoyed getting praised. Knowing that that was the case, Umeme then added, "but you can anyways." She closed her eyes, imagining what tomorrow will hold for her and Muroki. "Goodnight, Muroki," she whispered.

Lina couldn't help but chuckle, "Yeah well, the two of us and my parents who are still eating over there." she made a slight gesture to where her parents were just finishing eating. "Relax, it could be worse. I mean, they could be talking to us." she loved her parents dearly and she was joking when she said that, but it sounded amusing because she knew how awkward Delano often felt around them, especially around her mother.

Muroki smiled at what Umeme said. He never told her, but she was the cutest whenever she giggled. "Of course I need to say that." he said with a chuckle, pulling her even closer. "And I'm going to say it to you very often." he didn't care how old it would get, he would keep saying it just so that he could hear her giggle. "Good night Umeme." he licked her gently across her forehead but didn't go to sleep right away, enjoying watching his mate while she slept.

Delano chuckled at Lina's joke. "Yeah, it could be worse..." he agreed. Now that he and Lina were mates, he felt extremely nervous whenever Fadhili was around, due to how often she will tease them. He grinned at Lina then. "But it's not, and I don't mind that at all. I can wait talking to your mother."

Umeme smiled when Muroki licked her, but she was already falling asleep to quickly to do anything else. She snuggled up closer against him, getting more comfortable before she would be too lazy to move at all. The last thing she remembered before finally falling asleep was the feeling of Muroki's gentle breathing and his paw wrapped around her.

Lina grinned back at Delano, "You can, but you still avoid it." it was true that Delano never really attempted starting a conversation with her mother before. She hoped that he realized her mother could tell when it wasn't the right time to mess around and that he could rely on her to help him or provide him with advice in case he needed one. "You know she's just messing with us, if she suspected that what she was saying was doing more than just make us a little embarrassed she would immediately stop." as much as it might confuse Delano to hear it, even Fadhili knew when enough was enough.

Delano rubbed his head with a paw nervously. "Yeah, I think she's just messing with us," he agreed, "but that doesn't stop it from being embarrassing, you know." He looked nervously at Lina's parents, but they were occupied with themselves and were not paying attention to him and Lina. "Do you have any idea why she does that, though?" he hen asked Lina, "tease us, I mean. Because, surely she..." he struggled to find how to say what he meant. "as in... she doesn't really need to tease us, does she?" He looked at Lina, wondering if she understood what he meant.

Lina chuckled at what Delano said, "Well yeah, the point of teasing is that it's embarrassing." she chuckled once again at Delano's question. "Of course she doesn't need to tease us." sometimes Delano's questions combined with the look he had on his face when he asked them were somewhat amusing. "I don't really know why she does though." she gave Delano a nudge in the shoulder, "But you don't need to worry, she really is happy for both of us. Trust me, if my mother disliked you even a little we would have known it by now. She might not look like it but she's one of those few lionesses and lions you never ever want to anger."

Delano grinned at Lina. "If that's the case, I hope I won't live to see the day when I will be on the receiving end of your mother's wrath." He gave Lina a gentle lick. "And I will do everything I can to make sure that there will never be any reason for her to get mad at any of us."

He looked over at Fadhili again, and got an idea. "Say, Lina, so you know how she teases us... is there anything we can tease her back, just in case?" He was certain that if they will be able to tease Fadhili as well, life will be simpler for them in that it will make her think twice about poking fun at them.

Lina chuckled as Delano said he would do his best to avoid getting on her mother's nerves. "You better, trust me." She then thought about what Delano said next and the posibility of attempting to tease her mother back. "Hmm..." she never thought about attempting something like that before. "Well, uh..." she tried to think of something her mother was embarrassed about but couldn't really think of anything. "I have no idea." It probably wasn't the answer Delano was hoping for, but she really did have no idea for something that might make a good tease. Beside, even if they did tease her, it wouldn't really stop her from teasing them back.

Delano was disappointed to learn that Lina didn't know anything that they could use against Fadhili, but he didn't let it show. "Well, then I guess the best thing to do will be to avoid your mother then," he said, grinning, "at least until we can figure out how to avoid her teasing." As he said this, he thought of the hunt Lina was just on. "Speaking of which... did your mother tease you during the hunt?" He was curious if Fadhili found it good to tease them when he was around, or if she would do so whenever she can.

Lina shook her head as Delano questioned her about whether her mother teased her or her sister during the hunt earlier today. "Not really." she said, "She was really serious during the hunt." if she understood correctly, her mother was more curious to see how much she and her sister had improved. "After the hunt though Umeme began carrying the zebra a little too fast so she asked her to slow down in a rather teasing way because she knew that Umeme was eager to get back and see your brother." she paused for a moment, "I guess she doesn't joke around when it's a bad time."
