[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

OOC: Ok, this is it. We're going to do the wedding.

Simba took his family back to the den, where they all fell asleep, resting peacefully.

Finally, morning came. Simba went out to greet the dawn. He unleashed a loud roar, letting all of the Pridelands know that an important event was to happen today.

Nala quietly padded from the royal den, her aged blue eyes watching Simba call out to the animals. She smiled slightly and examined the beautiful clear blue skies. Today Kopa was marrying Ruby and the fate of the Pride lands would soon be handed down to them, she walked causally up to Simba's side. Leaning her muzzle to his mane she gave him a soft nuzzle, "Every time I see you up on this rock, it makes me smile. You've done such a wonderful job Simba." she cooed lovingly to her mate.


Mheetu slowly opened his green eyes and he gazed at Vitani sleep with the cubs all around, he smirked. He had such a wonderful little family, he opened his jowls letting out a soft yawn. Deciding that they needed to get their day started, Mheetu leaned into Vitani's face and gave her a few licks. "Good morning beautiful." he whispered before giving his 3 daughters each a nuzzle of their own.

The morning light peeked through the den's entrance and Ruby's amber eyes flickered open slowly. She was snuggled next to Kopa and she snuggled her face into his mane. "Today is finally here." she whispered softly in his ear.

Simba smiled at Nala. "I remember seeing my father do it when we got married. It's an image that's stayed with me ever since then," he said.

Kopa looked at Ruby. "Let's go and step into our destiny," he said with a smile.

Kiara awoke with a smile. Today, was her brother's wedding to the beautiful Ruby. Yawning, she licked Kovu passionately. "Wake up, love. Another big day is today." Whispering in his dark coloured ears, then walking out of the cave to see her father and mother at the tip of Priderock. "Good morning mother, Good Morning father." Giving them their own passionate nuzzle.

Vitani awoke to Mheetu's licking and licked his muzzle in return. "Good morning, handsome." Opening her purple eyes to see his green eyes staring down. Looking down, she saw her three beautiful daughters slowly awakening. "Today is a big day today, my princesses. Kopa and Ruby are getting married." Saying cheerfully while yawning.

Kamili awoke to her father and mother's words with a tiny yawn. "Mother, father. Can't we sleep longer?" Yawning and blinking her tired eyes at her parents.

Simba observed as everyone started to get ready. Nala and the other lionesses had taken Ruby into the den to get her ready, and Zazu had left to fetch Rafiki.

Meanwhile, Kopa was vigorously grooming himself, wanting to look his best.

Nala gave Ruby a nuzzle as they prepared Ruby for her wedding vows. Her own crystal blue eyes flickering with excitement as she stood in front of Ruby. "Now just relax....you look stunning." she chuckled watching Ruby groom herself. Nala lifted her paw and combed at Ruby's neck fur smiling, "You and Kopa make a wonderful match, I'm so happy for the both of you." she whispered. A lioness quickly padded up and brought a small crown of red and orange flowers. Nala gave a nod in satisfaction as she rested them down on the future queen's head. "There you go...beautiful."


Ruby nodded at every word Nala spoke, she fidgeted nervously in front of the Queen. Ruby fumbled about licking her paws and curling her face hair to make it look very soft and spotless. It was only after Nala dropped the flowers on Ruby's head did it really hit her she was next in line to be the Pride land's queen. It seemed like a dream come true and she stood to her paws proudly and let out a sigh. "Thank you so much Nala." she whispered pulling the lioness in for a hug.

Mheetu smiled at Vitani's words and gave Kamili a nuzzle, "No my dear, we have a very special wedding to attend. Then after that you can sleep, but I don't think you'll want to." he chuckled. Lifting Kamili he rested her on top of Vitani's back and he let Vitani pick up Saffy and put her on his. He looked down at Bianca, "Come on everyone, lets go get a good spot." he added picking her up. Mheethu stepped from the den into the morning light, his eyes squinted as he gazed down at the land filling with animals. He walked proudly with his little family and sat right outside the royal den, getting a good spot.

Saffy gave a yawn and quickly gazed about, her green eyes flickering with excitement. "Another wedding!" she squealed. As soon as they stepped out of the den and Saffy caught sight of all the animals. "Whoa...this has to be every animal! I want a wedding as big as this! " she spoke loudly smiling.

Finally, Kopa finished grooming himself. He took his place as Rafiki arrived.

Simba smiled proudly, knowing that it was ready. "I think we're all ready. Let the ceremony begin," he said.

Mheetu's green eyes looked down at Saffy and he hushed her softly, "Its about to start sweetheart." he whispered softly. His eyes focused on Simba and then he looked for Kopa and Ruby; eagerly.


Nala smiled and gave Ruby a small nuzzle, "You look beautiful. Truly the beauty of a future queen." she cooed softly. Nala took her place in front of Ruby, slowly the lioness lead Ruby from the cave up towards Simba, Kopa and Rafiki. A grin spread across her face as the animals hushed and bowed their head at the presence of royalty. Nala stepped to the side beside Simba and she nuzzled her mate as they watched the ceremony.


Ruby felt her heart begin to race as she slowly followed behind Nala to the tip of Pride rock. Her amber eyes flickered past the smiling lionesses and then to Kopa. She grinned as she ook her place beside Kopa proudly.

Rafiki wasted no time in starting. "Denizens of de Pridelands, we gather here today for de wedding of our future king and queen. Prince Kopa, do you take Princess Ruby as your mate and queen?" he asked.

Kopa smiled proudly. This was the day he had been waiting for. "I do," he said.

Rafiki looked at Ruby. "Princess Ruby, do you take Prince Kopa as your mate and king?" he asked.

Kovu stifled a yawn, then smiled. "I'm really excited for them," he whispered to his mate.
