Delano sighed. "I don't care when you'll go," he said, "I can wait for eating, but seeing as I'm not exactly going to move much today.... perhaps now will be a good time for you to hunt." He gently licked Lina, ignoring the fact that Umeme was right there. "I'll be able to spend all of tomorrow with you then. Just the two of us, like we want to."

Umeme rolled her eyes when Delano licked Lina. Sure, it was the exact same thing as between her and Muroki, but she might as well get a laugh out of it if she can. "It's still early, I know. But if we head out now, we should have an easier time to hunt."She grinned. "Besides, the two of you might already be up, but Muroki is still asleep. And I, for one, would love to be with him as much as I can, but especially when he's awake." She gently nudged Lina. "Come on, we'll be back before you know it!"

Lina grinned as Umeme nudged her and stood up, but not before returning Delano's lick. "Alright, let's go wake mom up. It's been a long time since we last hunted together." she looked at Delano for a moment, wondering what he was going to do to pass the time until they got back. "Um... You can, like... spend the day with Muroki until we get back..." then she realized that it wouldn't really work because Muroki was still asleep. "Or with Kasi... Maybe even our dad... Well, you'll figure something out."

Delano placed a paw on Lina's. "I'll be fine, you can go." He then released his hold of her, signaling that she can go. "And I'm serious about tomorrow. Just the two of us." He grinned at Lina. "It's not like I'll have to worry about your mother. If anything, the two of you will have to." He licked Lina quickly again before watching her and Umeme disappear back inside the den.

Umeme grinned at Lina as they headed back inside. "Mom spooked you too?" she asked, giggling slightly, "remember what she asked Muroki and I last night?" She tried not to laugh too loudly when they reached Fadhili, and Umeme began to prod her awake. "Hey, mom, wake up. Let's go hunt something." She looked around the den, and sure enough, Muroki was already snoring quietly where they usually slept together. "Yeah, he won't miss us for now," she whispered to Lina.

Lina chuckled as Umeme mentioned their mother's little jest from last night. She nodded, letting her sister know that she too found the whole situation rather awkward. Their eventually mother woke up as the result of Umeme's nudging and looked up at her daughters. "Hunt something?" she asked, sounding rather confused. "Just the three of us?" it's been a really, really long time since she last got to spend some time with her daughters, which was the main reason to why she loved the idea of going on a hunt with them. "I'm in." plus, it really was about time somebody went to hunt something.

Umeme nodded. "Yeah, the three of us should be enough." Together, the three of them walked outside the den and into the savanna in search of their next meal.

Delano watched them as they left, wanting to be with Lina, but knowing that he will only gt in the way of the hunt. "Have fun," he told them as they walked past him, giving Lina another lick. "Don't know where we will be when you get back, though. Still here, hopefully." He nodded at Umeme and Fadhili, although when he looked at the older lioness, he felt uneasy, still embarrassed by her bluntness.

Umeme grinned at Lina as they left Delano behind. "So what do you think we'll get today?" she asked, preparing herself for the hunt.

Despite how tempting it was to tease her new son-in-law when he licked Lina, Fadhili was more eager to get to spend some time with her daughters, something which she didn't get to do for a long time now. Still, she couldn't help but snicker at the rather nervous expression he had when he looked at her, finding it somewhat amusing. She was pretty sure that he'll get used to her eventually though.

Lina looked at her sister and smiled, "Whatever we come across first I guess." Fadhili decided not to say a thing and let her daughters decide what to do, wanting to see how much they had improved since the last time they hunted together, which was maybe a short time after she had finished training them because after that she and Moto began traveling and only saw their daughters occasionally.

Umeme nodded and the three of them continued to walk through the savanna in search of prey. "You know, I don't recall this place being so empty before," she commented, not seeing anything that they might be able to catch yet. From the looks of it, the hunt might have to take longer than she expected. She frowned, wanting to get back to Muroki, but realizing that it might be a problem now.

Back besides the den, Delano was still resting when he heard Kasi emerge from the den. "Oh, it's you. Good morning Kasi," he muttered, surprised that it wasn't Muroki who was up.

Kasi grinned at Delano. "Yeah, it's just me. You're brother's still asleep," he explained. "Whatever you guys did yesterday, it certainly knocked Muroki out well." He sat down next to Delano and let out a yawn. "So I've heard that the girls went hunting, right?" Delano nodded. Kasi thought for a while. "Hey, why won't you spend the day with me, then? I can show you to my friends."

Delano stared at Kasi's smiling face. "Well, I err.."

Kasi let out a small snort. "Come on, it's not the first time you'll be without Muroki. And Lina's busy." He got up and gently pushed Delano up as well, despite his cousin's protests. "Come on! It'll be fun!"

Delano gave one last peek inside the den. Sure enough, Muroki was out asleep inside of it. "Alright, let's go," he said, and followed Kasi as fast as he could.

(( Kind of weird that Delano and Muroki had lived with their cousin for such a long time and haven't met his friends yet =o ))

Fadhili looked at Umeme with a smile, "Sometimes it takes more time to find pray and sometimes it takes less." one of the most important thing in hunting was patience, especially once locating a target so to not end up doing something silly and scaring it off. As clear as it was that Umeme's annoyance was because she wanted to go back and being with Muroki, Fadhili held back from making any comments about it. This was supposed to be the time she wanted to spend with her daughter for so long. Plus she could always tease her some other time.

(( I think it's a rather good idea that beside the hunt you'll write down Delano's interaction with Kasi's friends and I'll write down Muroki's first meeting with Gakuru ))

Umeme nodded. "Yeah, I know that. No, I was just noticing that there is, well, there is usually a bit more life around here. Think too many hunted around here lately? Or is the grass too dry here?" Normally, prey preferred to move to the better grass, no matter how many predators were around. It could easily be that the den was in an area that wasn't good for prey now. But she shrugged. "Oh well. As long as Muroki is still asleep, I don't care how much we need to go."

Delano followed Kasi, but had to ask his cousin to wait up. "I can't walk so quickly right now," he protested, "it's not every day that you get over a broken leg, you know." He caught up to his cousin, or rather, Kasi waited for him, before they settled at a more manageable pace. "So how come I never met your friends before?" Delano asked his cousin.

Kasi grinned. "Well, that's because of several reasons. One, you weren't exactly getting around places lately, and two:" he smirked, "because my friends aren't Lina, who you spend all your time with if you can." He watched as Delano turned red. "Relax, I already told my friends about you. Don't be too nervous. Just be yourself." He looked up and smiled. "Hey, we're almost there! Come on!" He trotted forwards, forcing Delano to also break into a painful run.

Fadhili again chuckled at how obvious it was that Umeme could barely be away from Muroki for more than a minute or two. Again though, she refrained from teasing her daughter. "Your father and I were just like you when we first got together you know." she said, not seeing what she just said as a tease but more as a nostalgic statement. "You might have a point," going back to the subject of the hunt, "Maybe going to where there's greener grass will prove to be a better idea."

After napping for a while Muroki woke up with a yawn. Despite how tired he was back when Umeme attempted talking to him, he was still able to recall the fact that Umeme went to hunt with her mother her sister. Kasi and Delano seemed to be gone as well, but he had no idea as to where they might have gone off to. Getting up to his feet and stretching, he realized that he needed something to keep him from boring to death until Umeme or Kasi or Delano returned, because waiting for his father-in-law to wake up in order to spend the day with him would be quite awkward. Realizing that it's been a long time since he actually took a walk, he decided to go ahead and do just that.
