[Stormy]

They continued to walk forward down the path, passing many things on the way. Liv notices something about the ground they were walking on. "Is it me, or does this ground have a weird feeling to it?" She asks, as she stopped and moved her paw around on it. "It.. it almost feels like I'm not even walking on it."

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

"Oh, yes. That was the first thing I noticed when I walked down this path. It felt like walking on a rainbow. Did you feel that?"

[Stormy]

“Yeah.” Liv replied looking at her paw. “Very weird feeling. I’ve never felt it before. I wonder why it’s like that.”

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

"I wonder that too. The mother bear I crossed paths with when I entered the cave where we met said it could be the spirits of some ancient animals in this territory. They are trying to lure in visitors and new inhabitants."

[Stormy]

Liv looks to Dakota in confusion. “Lure them where?”

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

"To this land. They wanted this territory to stay inhabited, so they probably thought of ways to make this place unique and magical so it won't be abandoned. That may be why the grasses are a bit brighter than the neighboring lands."

[Stormy]

“I guess you could say it’s working.” She replied. “I wonder why they’re so determined to keep the land inhabited though.”

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

"Good question. I am just guessing they want to preserve it and don't want it to turn into a wasteland."

[Stormy]

“Hm.” Quite some time passes by as they walk, and the pressure of Liv’s injured paw began to take effect on her. “Okay.” She began to lean on Dakota lightly. “I think I need to stop for a little bit.”

"Glad you told me. Yes, we do need to rest, and you need time for your paw to heal," Dakota let Liv lean on her for support. "Does it hurt much now?"
