Kapuki hadn't really thought of that. "Good idea," she agreed, rising to her paws. Chaltuu did the same, flicking her tail and glancing around. Well, they may as well start. It would most likely be a long time before they could find a lioness who was expecting, or had cubs, so they would have to begin their search as soon as possible. It would make no sense to walk around the dry savanna, which mind anyone, was full of snakes and hyenas, with a newborn cub to search for a lioness who could provide milk for Shujaa.

[And then she magically spots a sudden lioness who has cubs.

[xD Angus uses his physic powers to lead them to an expecting lioness or a lioness with cubs.]

"I suggest we head this way. If I am correct, there should be a couple pleasant areas where a lioness might stay." He looked over towards the east, hoping they are headed to what he thinks he remembers. Luckily, it wasn't too far off, so if they didn't find a lioness there, at least it wouldn't be like they traveled days to one area only to see no one there.

"Sounds great," Kapuki said, though she was more enthusiastic to just find a lioness who could give milk to Shujaa and would agree to stay for a while in turn for protection of her and her cubs, whether unborn or not. She nodded, motioning for Angus to lead the way. She had always been confined to the territory and was rarely allowed to explore much, except on hunting trips and territory expeditions. That explained why she was constantly bored in her father's territory- there was nothing to do except chat, hunt, sleep, do border patrols in hope for some action in their lives.

Angus nodded, walking in the direction he was facing. The savannah grasses was moist from the previous storm, and every once in a while, a drop will land on his flank from the trees above. He shook the sleep from his eyes, and wasn't sure if he recognized where they were. If it was not what he thought, no one could really blame him, there was not much difference in the sections of the savannah.

[Then Kapuki said "Oh look I see a lioness over there okay let's go talk to her]

"Tired, hmm?" Chaltuu grunted. She could sort of tell Angus was a little tired, and she couldn't blame him. It had been a long day and a difficult fight against Kivuli. Would she ever have to see him again? Of course- to take Shujaa with them. She hoped she wouldn't have to fight him again, though. Her father was tough and he would waste absolutely no time trying to just destroy her and Kapuki, and Angus too. She could tell that Kivuli didn't like her... "acquaintance" any more than Chaltuu or Kapuki.

[No, she's not like magic or something. But you can usually tell when someone's tired or sleepy. xD]

[Who knows? Angus' physic powers could be contagious. xD]

He gave another nod, somewhat thinking it wasn't appropriate to say 'yes'. He was still thinking of the fight, and it did drain a lot of energy. For a long time, he's thought of his father as a true enemy, but he could see how much more brutal Kivuli was. He finally came across one of the safer areas, and sped up the pace. When he was close enough, he tried to catch a faint scent of lioness, or possibly see one.

Chaltuu sniffed the air. "Hmm... I don't smell anything." She parted her jaws slightly, almost as if "tasting" the air for a scent, even if it was faint or subtle. A faraway lioness was better than no lioness.
Kapuki shook her head, a bit disappointed. She did want someone, anyone, who would be able to help Shujaa... Terrible thoughts and horrible images plagued her mind, ones of Shujaa lying still and limp, ones of Shujaa being attacked brutally by Kivuli... Would her father really hurt a cub? Knowing him and what he had done to both her and Chaltuu, she wouldn't doubt it, not in the slightest.

Angus huffed. He was disappointed that they didn't find one around, but at least they had some time to spare to find one. "We better continue to look." With that, he headed in a new direction, constantly looking side to side to see if one was hunting or something. Maybe if they went to an area with more prey, they could find one hunting. Of course, there wasn't a lot of food here, so he wasn't sure where to go to find any.

"Hmm..." Kapuki mused, flicking her tail. She sneaked a glimpse at her silent sister, wondering what kept Chaltuu so quiet.
Shujaa just had to live, she had to! Kapuki had no one except Chaltuu, and a stranger she had known for less than two hours. She had hardly interacted with Chaltuu when she was younger, and she hardly knew this "Angus". She personally refused to recognize Kivuli as her father, and almost felt ashamed of having him for a father. Was she any better than he was?

Angus noticed Kapuki beginning to have a worried expression, and assumed it was on being exiled, or the newborn suffering. He himself was feeling sympathy for her, he couldn't imagine how worried Kapuki and Chaltuu were. The sun was already setting, and they haven't come across any lioness. He did, however, find a herd, and hoped a lioness would so happen to be hunting.
