The Pride Lands (Zeke, NM, kovu42, morri908)

[Zeke]

"Dangit!" Zeke yelled and pounded the ground with a balled up paw. He sit still for a little while to let the anger die down. "What do we do?"

Bakari stared blankly for a second, trying to think of any clues. "Where were we last when we realized she was missing?" he asked Zeke, to hopped up on adrenaline to remember where he had been.

[Zeke]

Zeke looked around and pinpointed the spot. "Here," He said, running over to a spot on the grass. The grass he stood on lay flat against the ground. "She was here."

He sniffed every inch of the grass trying to get the lioness' scent into his memory. He closed his eyes and started slowly to follow the faint trail before it disappeared. He signalled for Zeke to follow as he slowly stalked his way through the brush following the faint scent trail.

Mila was placed in a cave in an all too familiar place. It was their cave. The hyena prides cave. She had already tried looking for a way out, with no success. She knew she was going to get the beating from him when he found out what she had done.

After 5 hours of pure torture of having to sit in the dark cave, the boulder guarding the entrance of the cave slowly opened. Oh god, it's him. He's going to kill me.. she thought. She couldn't really make out what the thing approaching was, she had been in the dark too long.

Her eyesight came back to her, and she saw who it was. It was a lion with a very masculine figure, a dark black mane and brown-tannish fur. And there was the scar on his nose from when she clawed him. It WAS him. Mila sighed.

"So, Mila, decided to come back to me?" The male lion said, laughing. "I heard about ALL that you've done... " he said.

"You have?" Mila asked, and gulped. She thought this would be the end for her.

"Yeah, and you know me, I'm not one to tolerate with betrayal. But I'm willing to make an exception to this one" He said, and started to smile wickedly.

This is NOT good Mila thought. When he made exceptions, they were always sick and twisted ones.

"Yeah, I know you enough to know that your planning to do something to me" she replied to the lion. She had already accepted what was to come.

"So then you wouldn't mind... ? " the lion said, with a evil grin on his muzzle. Mila remained silent, so he grabbed her head with his paws, and scratched her neck with a claw. Mila felt it and it definitely hurt, but she didn't show any sign of pain. "Unless you want more of those, I suggest you follow me" he said.

"No, Zilo." She said, defying the powerful lion of his wishes. She just stood there.


Zilo was growing impatient. "Well then, I guess I'll just do it right here!" He growled at Mila. He pinned her down and kissed her while rubbing her body up and down. Mila had no choice but to go with it or have him rip her up. She remembered this from before she had run away, when she actually enjoyed this kind of stuff. After a few minutes of this, Zilo was ready to go further. Before he had the chance to, a hyena ran into the cave and abruptly said "Sir, the two lions you wanted? We found them following us. What should we do?" He asked. Zilo looked at Mila, and then the hyena. "I want you to capture them, but I'm going to come too." He said. "We'll finish this later, Mila" he said, and ran out.

Mila just laid there. What was she supposed to feel? Her previous mate wanted her back. He had just made her feel like she was worth something again, even if he had forced her to do it. She just lay there, unsure on how to feel.

[Zeke]

Zeke could not understand why Bakari was smelling the ground. He could smell nothing, however he hardly ever could. He trusted Bakari's judgement and closely followed him as to not get separated.

Bakari tensed up as another scent trail touched his nose. Very faint, but it was there, the scent of another lion. He searched for more clues, reaching out with all his instincts and experience. He turned to Zeke, "there's another lion here. He's big and strong and I'm going to bet he hasn't been fighting hyenas all day, possibly the opposite. Keep an eye and an ear out for anything strange."

[Zeke]

Zeke nodded and continued following Bakari. The pain from his injuries was starting to hit Zeke. His legs were starting to sting and his shoulder was killing him, yet he pushed on.

Zilo followed his group of hyena soldiers. The walk was very long, and the hyena pack leader had something on his mind.

"I saw what you were doing to Mila in there, is she coming back to us?" He asked.

Zilo sighed. "Even if she didn't want to, why would it matter? She's going to learn to like me like before." He said in an annoyed tone.

"I see, I'm sorry for asking, boss." The hyena said, and walked a bit faster.

~LATER AGAIN =D~

Zilo was resting on the path with a few hyenas, talking with them.
The hyena pack leader came running to the circle they had created.
"Sir, I've spotted the lions dead ahead, I recommend being very quiet"

Zilo responded quickly, and quietly. "Let's move out. Be as stealthy as you possibly can. Lead us to them"

Bakari was getting frustrated. He couldn't find any sort of trail and storm clouds were beginning to gather overhead. Rain was the worst possible thing if he was trying to follow someones trail. His ears pricked and his muscles tensed as he thought he heard something moving ahead. "Zeke, do you hear anything?" he asked, hoping he wasn't just being overly paranoid.
