Meanwhile, Dotty was finally able to sleep. It happened just as Kopa and Vitani were arriving on the scene. One of the other lionesses approached. "What happened?" she asked.

Vitani sighed before telling the lioness the news. "Rafiki passed on. His apprentice will try to aid us from now on."

The lioness, named Harusi, stepped forward. "How did he pass away? Was there anything normal about his death?" she asked, wanting to find out more.

Vitani shook her head, "Well, not really... He just puffed into flower petals and disappeared... There was no trace of him after that."

Harusi's jaw dropped open. "Ok, that's something I've never heard of before. I wonder how he pulled it off," she said, laying down in a comfortable position.

Vitani shrugged, "I don't know..." she still had a hard time believing that the mandrill was gone. "But on the bright side he lived a long and, as far as I'm aware, peaceful life."

Kopa nodded. "Well, now that he is, all we can do is remember his teachings and try to keep them in our hearts. My father once told me that death was a natural part of life and that trying to stop it was as stupid as trying to make flowers bloom when it suits you or trying to get white flowers to come up yellow. No matter what you do, you will always get white flowers. It's the same with death. You can try to stop it, but it always comes," he said.
