Together, Delano and Muroki headed back to the den. There, they saw that Umeme and Lina were chatting in the shade.

Umeme was talking with Lina when she saw Muroki and Delano approaching. "Hey guys!" She called out. "How's it going?"

Muroki hesitated for a moment, "Um..." he kind of hoped Delano would say something first, "Hey."

Delano smiled a bit at the two lionesses. "Hey," he muttered. Sitting down next to them, he asked, "How's it going?"

Umeme smiled. "Day's going fine," she replied. "How's your day been?"

Muroki also sat down, slightly nervous, "Oh... Nothing unusual."

Umeme frowned. She never thought of Muroki as the nervous type. "What did you do with Kasi?" She demanded.

Muroki said, "We talked." maybe they saw Kasi and noticed how nervous he was.

Umeme snorted in disbelief. "About what? You never got this agitated before."

Delano didn't want to have the lionesses get in their way. "It's non of your business!" He said.

Muroki said, "That's not it. I'm just nervous around," he couldn't say lionesses, it will be too embarrassing. "strangers." Lina still said nothing, not feeling like she had anything worth saying.

Umeme giggled a bit at Muroki's answer. "Are we really that bad?" She asked. Although privately, she understood that Muroki and Delano might get nervous around her and Lina.

Muroki almost flushed, "No, I'll uh... um... I'll get used to it." hopefully.
