Umeme looked over at Delano and Lina when Muroki mentioned them. "Yeah," she agreed, finding the sight of them amusing, "that really does look nice." She at first thought of doing that now with Muroki, after all, Delano and Lina were already, but then Umeme looked up and saw that the day would soon end. "Yeah, it would be nice to nap like that, but I don't think we will get to do that now." Umeme nuzzled Muroki again. "It's getting late. We better start going home now."

Muroki shifted his gaze towards the sky when Umeme looked up and became rather disappointed when he saw that the day was basically almost over. It had passed by so quickly that it felt like they've only been at the waterhole for a few minutes, regardless of the fact that the moments he had alone with Umeme seemed like they lasted forever. He smiled at her and returned her nuzzle, "Oh, that's a shame..." he gave her a quick yet loving lick across her forehead before looking at Delano and Lina who were still busy napping at each other's side. "We should probably go wake them up..."

Umeme nodded and walked over with Muroki over to Lina and Delano. "Hey, come on you two," she said, gently nudging them, "time to wake up. We need to get going now." She grinned at Muroki. "We can always splash them awake," she whispered. She really wanted to do it, but waited for Muroki to decide on what to do before acting.

Muroki raised an eyebrow as Umeme's attempts at waking Delano and Lina up by nudging them proved unsuccessful. "Yes, we can always splash them awake..." while Delano's expression as he slept literally demanded to wake him up by doing something mean to him, Lina's expression was so calm that Muroki almost hated the fact that they had to wake her up. So instead he splashed only on his brother's face. "Come on, time to head back."there was a short silence, "What? We tried nudging you."

While Muroki proceeded to wake Delano up, Umeme nudged Lina again, this time getting a response. "It's getting late," she said when she saw Lina finally open her eyes.

Delano groaned when he felt water splash over him, and opened his eyes to see Muroki staring at him. "Did you have to do that?" he asked, annoyed. "Aright, alright. I'm up." He slowly got up to his feet and then waited for Lina to do the same. "Can't believe it's time to go already," he commented, allowing Lina to stand up next to him. He smiled at her and gave her a lick. "You know we will have to tell the others when we get back, right?" he asked, "they would like to know."

Seeing that both Delano and Lina were no awake, Muroki decided to head over to his cousin who was still at the other side of the waterhole and tell him that it was time to head back. Lina smiled at Delano and giggled when he licked her, "Of course I know." she was quite eager to tell her parents already, despite knowing for certain that they will both be happy for her and Delano. She waited for Muroki to arrive back with Kasi before beginning to walk in the direction of the den, "Come on!"

Delano hurried after Lina, who was clearly eager to get back to the den. "Hey, wait for me!" He caught up to her and then took his place by her side. Together, they let Muroki and Umeme walk up to them with Kasi, and the five of them made their way back to the den. As they walked, Delano wondered what would happen when they will get back. "So what will your parents think?" he asked Lina, "I mean... I don't think they won't like it. But... you know. There's always the chance they might not approve..." He hated to think what will happen if they won't approve of him and Lina, but didn't find it easy not to worry about.

Lina was about to immediately say that she had no doubt that her parents would be more than just happy for the two of them, and after a moment she did. During that one moment she remembered all the times she and Delano would argue or even yell at each other. While they immediately left it behind, it always made the fear grow, of her parents suddenly deciding that perhaps their relationship had no future and was only having a bad mental impact on both of them. But seeing as they never said anything like that before, she saw no reason to worry.

Delano saw the worry in Lina's eyes, and immediately felt bad. "I'm sorry," he muttered, "I shouldn't have said that... they won't be against it. There's no reason for them to..." The more he thought of it, the more he realized that the fears were most likely false. Almost the entire time he had spent healing, Lina was there next to him. And yet, her parents never said anything that sounded like disapproval to Lina spending her time with him.

Next to Delano and Lina, Umeme overheard some of what they said. "Relax you two," she said, "there's nothing to worry about. Believe me, we all knew that this moment was going to happen sooner or later. And mom and dad would have already had me talk to you if they were worried about something."

Muroki, who was listening to what was being said, knew that what Umeme said was true. Not once did they ask Umeme to talk to her sister about anything regarding her and Delano being together, and they never asked him to talk to Delano regardless of how mentally unstable his brother had been lately. They never even showed any signs that might hint that they did not approve. As far as he was aware, Lina and Delano really did have nothing to worry about.
