[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

"Leggo of me!" she yelled, trying to claw at his throat.

Anakin growled, "Never." Saying with absolutely no tone into his voice, only after did he cackle. Cackle with evil in it, a cackle with no sign of good. Anakin was gone, it was Vaydir now.

Chaka stood in shock at Anakin's change in character. It seemed as if his friend of a rough play heart was gone, and a monster of evil stood before him. "Anakin??" he called out in fret. It seemed a darkness had took over him. He stepped back at looked at Monstro with worry, if they actually did end up in a fight, who knows what could happen. But right before his friend could respond he jumped at him and pinned him down, not wanting to get any further with this. He quickly looked at Shetani and yelled "GO! Both of you!" as Anakin, now an evil personality, struggled beneath him.

Anakin roared, "What the hell is wrong with you! We almost got free food!" Roaring and nipping at Chaka's face. His once orange eyes have turned red. "I wasn't actually going to hurt her!" Screaming in Chaka's face once again. "Get off of me!" Roaring, it echoed through the Pridelands.

Shetani's eyes flicked from Anakin to Chaka. She wiggled out of the large lion's grasp for the moment that he was stunned, and ran. "Dad, come on!"

Ruby gave Kopa a slow lick on his muzzle, "You will be a great King, you have big paw prints to follow. But why don't you make some of your own. Mufasa and Simba were great kings because they ended up following their own path." she said softly. Giving Kopa a nudge with her muzzle, she smiled. "The Pridelands will be proud to call you their King one day Kopa, that I am sure of." she said proudly.


Nala chuckled, "We should be retiring soon..eh? Old age will have us spending all our time in the den and the rest of it chasing our grand-cubs." she said giving a small wink Kopa and Ruby's way.


Mheetu nodded down at Kamili, "Alright my dear, you wait here with your momma and sisters. I will be back in no time.." he said giving her a nuzzle. Turning to Vitani, Mheetu gave her a lick on her muzzle. "I'll be back." he muttered, lifting his body to his paws slowly. Giving himself a chance to stretch he bounded off in the direction of the nearby Gazelle herd, he hoped they were still grazing.


Saffy's green eyes watched her dad disappear in the distance and she frowned, " Kamili, lets play tag. YOUR IT!" she squealed, her small light colored paw poking her sisters shoulder. She ran around her mother and took safety on the opposite side of her body, her pretty green eyes narrowing at Kamili. "Come on and try and catch me!" she teased sticking out her tongue.


Everything happened so quick, the young lion gripped up Shetani after she refused to leave. He followed close behind his daughter as they raced to the Outlands, he slowed down when they made it to his territory. "You deliberately disobeyed me Shetani..." Monstro scolded. His yellow eyes glared down at his daughter as they made their way back to the Pride. "He could've killed you..." he added. Monstro's mind was on the two young lions and why they were so far from Pride rock, he remembered one of them as Simba's cub. Something was brewing in the Pride lands and Monstro wanted to know exactly what it was. 'Where was Kovu and Folle, had they both been killed? Or did they fail their mission.' Monstro thought to himself, he would have to have a talk with Zira and soon.

Simba stopped for a long moment. "Grandcubs...now I'll know how Mother and Father felt when Kopa, Kiara and..." he suddenly stopped mid-sentence, thinking of his other son. "Oh Nala, I wish I knew what turned Chaka against us," he said, trying to suppress some tears that threatened to flow forth from his eyes.

"I... I... no, he wouldn't, not... I'm sorry, dad." She hung her head.
Zira ran up. "I thought you had... why didn't you tell me?"

Simba got himself under control. "I'm sorry. I'm still not used to Chaka being gone," he said as he looked into Nala's eyes.

OOC: Jumping ahead to the wedding day for Kiara and Kovu so that we can keep going.

Finally, it was the day of Kovu and Kiara's wedding. Simba looked around as Kopa sat with Kovu. Kiara was being prepared in the den. Simba smiled as the animals of the Pridelands gathered around Pride Rock. "This is going to be a great day," he said aloud.
