Alitash: ......oh.....

[Iri]

Kapuki snorted. "Shujaa, you can come back in now," she shouted. She cast a cold glance over her shoulder as she allowed Shujaa to join Alitash in the cave again.
"What did she say?" the adolescent whispered.

[Adofo]

Alitash: ......I......don't wanna say...

[Iri]

"Are you sure?" Shujaa said gently.

Alitash: ....She said.....to stop crying.....to accept the pride the way it is cuz it makes her really mad.......and......she doesn't like us dating....

"She said it makes her really mad?" Shujaa said skeptically. Though her sister was aggressive and harsh, that seemed like something her sister would never say.

[Adofo]

Alitash: ....She said "I will mangle the next lion or lioness who thinks that everyone's anger is about them. Stop apologizing. I'm sick of it. You might think it makes you look innocent, but it's irritating." and "I don't approve of your relationship with her."

[Iri]

Shujaa winced. "I'm sorry," she apologized sincerely. "She's overprotective of me. Though... I'm not sure that there's anything worth being overprotective about over me." She lowered her head and glanced to the side.

[Adofo]

Alitash: .....I just....want to live in peace........but......I know it's too much to ask.....that's another reason no one would stay with me.......I'd just want others to get along.....and then they'd abandon me.....I'm just a selfish moron...

"No, you're not," Shujaa assured her firmly but gently. "You want peace. That's not too much to ask for. But... Alitash, the world is full of hate and violence. We can't change that. It's not wrong to wish it could change, but it's not going to."
