Adofo: Because....you obviously NEED to talk about it. Please....talk to me.

"I don't need to talk about it," Aaquila said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Come on....please? I'm a good listener! And....if you don't want anyone to know, my lips are sealed.

[Iri]

"My past isn't for any ears but my own and my sisters'," Aaquila replied. "And also... what makes you think I 'need' to talk about it?" Her tone wasn't icy or angry anymore, but she just sounded curious.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Because.....it helps. I only want to help you. But.....how was our father? I'm just getting....mixed messages about him. Sorry if it's too personal. But......I know what it's like to suffer deep down. You feel cold and alone....you feel you have to do everything you can. But no matter how hard you try....in the end.....you can only trust yourself to take care of the ones you love the most.

Aaquila's head tilted. "What do you mean, 'how was my father'?" she asked.

Adofo: Like.....you said he basically just left your mother to die....but your sisters seem to think really highly of him. What happened?

[Iri]

Aaquila's tail lashed. "I... don't want to talk about it." Tears started welling up in her eyes but she quickly brushed them away.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Please......I need to know! Did......did he hurt you?

"I don't want to talk about it," Aaquila said. She turned away.
