As they walked, Kopa looked at Kovu. "So future brother-in-law, how do you think my mother will react to these wounds?" he said.

"Aw, she'll be worried, but she won't freak out." He shrugged, if a lion could do so.

Kopa nodded. "All right. Come on, let's just find them," he said. He continued walking, eager to see his mother again. Finally, the lionesses were in sight. Kopa roared to get their attention. He then moved towards Nala. "Hi Mom," he said, aware of the fact that the wounds he had been given were visible.

Kovu cringed at her expression. He hoped he would give the same response as Simba had.

Kopa smiled. "Mom?" he said, wanting to get a response from his mother and hoping she wouldn't freak out over his wounds.

Nala lifted her head and smiled as the guys walked their way, "See ladies...they couldn't be without us long." she teased softly. Her tail flickered by her side and she reclined to her hinds meeting Kopa with a head rub. "Hello dear, did you have f-un....Kopa! Look at your back!" she said with a look of worry on her muzzle. She stepped to his side and put her paw on his head straightening him out, "What happened..." she said sternly her blue eyes looking at him.

Ruby quickly looked up at Nala's outburst and she ran over to Kopa's side giving his wounds a loving lick. "Who hurt you...?" she whispered her amber eyes looking back over at the eager Nala.


Mheetu let out a sigh and padded over to Vitani and he smiled at the sight of his daughters, "Well..if it isn't the four most beautiful girls in the whole world." he said giving Vitani's muzzle a lick. He sat by her side and looked back over to Kopa and Nala.

Saffy chuckled at her father's words and she ran over to snuggle into her mother's belly fur, it was soft and warm.


Monstro's yellow eyes looked down at Shetani, "Yes, these Pride landers can't be trusted...So if i tell you to run..Run.." he said in a stern tone. When the grass beneath his paws got green and lush he slowed down eyeing the herd of antelope grazing. "Look Shetani...lunch.." he said with a side smile.

Kopa looked into the eyes of his mother and fiancee. "Don't worry. I was play-fighting with Kovu and his claws extended. It was a complete accident," he said.

Kovu nodded in agreement.

"Can I try?" Shetani asked devilishly, extending her small claws.

Kopa nodded. "You see, Mom? Nothing's wrong," he said, hoping Nala would accept it.

Nala's blue eyes flickered to Kovu and then to Mheetu, "You saw them...?" she said softly questioning her brother's judgement.

Mheetu gave her a nod and he looked over at Vitani, he sighed heavily.

"Fine...I suppose everything is okay." she muttered standing up to her paws. She nuzzled Kopa and then nuzzled Kiara. "I'm going back to check on Simba, enjoy your day off. Tomorrow is Kovu and Kiara's wedding." she said in a stern voice turning her back to leave. She paused a moment and her blue eyes looked to Kopa, "I only look out for your best interest Kopa, you are future King." she added heading back to Pride rock.


Ruby nodded to Nala as she left and she quickly nudged Kopa, "Well so much for being separate all day!" she teased softly. Her amber eyes looked to Kovu and Kiara, "Good luck tomorrow you two love birds." she said smirking. She leaned in giving Kopa a lick on his muzzle, "Your mother is right you know.." she whispered softly.

Mheetu looked to Vitani, " Did ya miss me?" he said in a small voice lowering his head to the ground. He playfully rolled onto his back and rolled around after Kamili, Bianca and Saffy.

Letting out a giggle Saffy pawed at Mheetu's mane and she squealed running away from him, "Dont squish me daddy!" she yelled laughing. "Run!" she blurted out giving Kamili a small push as Mheetu rolled their way.


Monstro's yellow eyes looked down at Shetani, he shook his head. "No Shetani, this is no place for you to practice. I don't want you to get hurt and I dont want you getting spotted by a Pride lander." he added giving her a small nuzzle. "Wait here.." he instructed as he crept closer to the grazing antelope.
