"Come on, slowpoke!" Rangi dared, running straight for the trees. Running totally reduced the time it would take to get there.

The darker lioness leaped into the air, bounding like an antelope. She merely scoffed at her sister's words and pressed on, speeding up a little to close the gap between the two of them. The forest loomed ahead, lush and green, probably full of weird creatures and things to do. Maybe even lions. Kuruka nudged her head against Rangi's flank and blazed ahead.

"Gee, about time! I'm supposed to be the slower one!" Rangi taunted, chasing after her younger sister joyfully. She truly felt happy right now.

"I'm just lazy," she huffed back, sprinting on ahead as the first row of trees grew ever larger. She could smell them now, full of life. This would be enjoyable, she hoped. With a glance back at Rangi, the darker twin pattered into the shade.

Rangi felt leaves cracking under her paws as they officially entered the forest, laughing. "Yeah, okay, who was the one watching you beat those lionesses to bore herself, aye?" Yep, Rangi just called herself lazy. How classy.

She grinned back at her sister. "You have a point." Flicking her tail against Rangi's nose, the lioness stepped onwards, peering around the vibrant jungle. The plants were all large and smelled so...odd. She could see colorful birds in the canopy, as well as some primates.

Rangi slowed down in a trot, panting heavily like a dog. She wasn't as lithe as her sister— Rangi was definitely more muscle.

[ xD ]

Kuruka ambled forwards at a walk, eyeing the new landscape. "Gee, you alright?" she snickered to her twin, eyeing Rangi with a cool violet gaze. She flicked away a leaf in her path and hopped onto a fallen tree, surveying the jungle.

Rangi just nodded, knowing she actually did this to herself. As the two sisters walked by, a male lion narrowed his orange eyes, wondering what the hell they were doing here. He flexed his shiny white claws, watching them go by and praying they didn't smell him; they didn't look too nice, with all of those scars. He guessed they were probably related since they looked so similar.

Kuruka snorted, but then paused a moment, her jaws open. "There's someone here." she muttered to her littermate, fur lifting along her spine. She swung her gaze around, searching through the greenery, but there was no one in sight. But the lion scent lingered.
