Nova and Neo

"Im fine. It's just..." She looked at her belly and knew why she was slower than usual.

"It's nothing. Don't worry. I can manage the next few miles" She said brightly.

Neo was sleeping in the outlands still thinking of plans to kill Simba.

Nova, who was rather large now came walking towards Neo and sat down next to him. She had enjoyed the time here with him so far, but felt anger towards Simba and the others for what they had done to Zira, Scar and the fact Kovu and Vitani his siblings had turned their backs on them she felt sorry for him.

"Are you ok Neo?"

"Yeah it's just...I feel that lion Zira let in I don't trust him"he gumbled "he just dosn't seem right"

"Well, we shall have to keep an eye on him then" Nova said thoughtfully.

It was odd being around other lions again. But she had respect for Zira and it was hard to gain respect from Nova.

Zira meanwhile was still her usual self and was in a foul mood today. She approached the pair and rolled her eyes at them.

"What are you sulking for?" She shot at Neo "And you should be in the den. Your cub looks due" She snarled at Nova.

"She came out to see me mom"Neo said getting up

[Shadowfax]

"Well you should be resting. Those cubs will need all the strength and rest they can get if they're to be born out here" She said, trying not to sound like she cared too much.

"Silly me" Nova said, rolling her eyes slightly.

She gave Neo a lick on the muzzle and then left mother and son alone for a while. She suddenly felt a sheer pain in her stomach and staggered slightly, but she hid it well and walked into the den.

"What is wrong with you Neo!" Zira snarled at her son.

"What do you mean"he said walking to her calmly.

"You don't seem yourself. Sulking! What is it? Nova? The cubs? That vile lion in the pride lands?" Zira snapped.

She was in a particularly bad mood today.
