Kinla looked up at him and away again, blushing. "I... I don't know how to hunt by myself." she mumbled.

Kava did a little smile at her and said, "Well don't worry I can teach you. We'll try and hunt together alright?"

Kinla looked up at him then away. "I can't... if I stay with you, my pride will never except me back." She whispered.

Kava sighed and said, "And so you'll starve yourself for a wekk just to be let back in a pride? That doesn't make much sense..." He then said, "Come on your pride need never know about this."

Kinla looked up and smiled slightly at him,"I..." LEAVE HIM ALONE! HE'S MINE! Melaya growled inside of her head. Kinla shocked at the sudden agression that the dead lioness showed backed up a pace. She shook her head at him and continued to back away whimpering. Melaya was staging an all out battle now, trying to push out Kinla and take control.

Kava noticed her back away and tried to calm her down, "Hey it's okay." He said to her, "Listen just come with me alright and we'll find something to eat. I won't hurt you kid I promise..."

Kinla whimpered as pain speared through her head. What do you want? why won't you leave me alone? she asked Melaya silently. Falling to the ground Kinla buried her face in her paws trying to relieve the pressure that was building up inside. With one last effort Melaya broke free and took control. She got up and stretched and padded over to Kava. "Of course I'll come with you" She purred stepping closer to him, with a sly gleam in her eye.

Kava looked at concern at Kinla holding her head in agony before he smiled at 'Kinla' returning to normal and said to her, "Listen I'll hunt and you can watch alright. I mean my mate..." he put his head down, "Melaya she...she died hunting so I can't bear to watch another lioness die." He started walking and said to her, "Hey kid I assume that you have no one back at that pride to take care of you no?"

Melaya grinned and sat down and lifted a paw up to her mouth. She started to lick it delicately, to clean it before the hunt. "Oh I can hunt. And I'll hunt with you." She purred as she set the foot down and stood back up. She stepped closer to the male so that she was invading his personal space. "I'm done with that pride. They don't mean anything to me." She said with a murderous gleam in her eye.

Kava shook his head as she said she was going to hunt with him, "No you're not kid. You're going to stay right here understand?" As she got real close to him Kava immediately backed away three steps and laughed nervously. As she had a strange look in her eye Kava said, "Well as long as the pride don't bother me or you no one needs to be killed right?" He then suddenly saw game and said, "Wait here..."
