When You're Gone

[Safrina]

She flexed her claws in and out, unsure whether she could trust the lion. She already trusted the chicken, but a lion was a different story. She roared, then jumped and took off running, skidding to a stop in front of the lion. Panting, she snarled. Her fangs glowed as sunlight hit them, then she snarled again weakly. "Who are you?"

Nyatui sighed and looked at the chicken, "another charity case mother? really?"

The chicken clucked and waddled over to the lioness, "don't mind my son. he doesn't really understand females at all dearie."

[Safrina]

"Oh." Safrina relaxed a little more, but her tail twitched with fear.

[wolfishgirl]

"So... do you want to play with us?" The full grown lion asked as he rolled onto his back.

[Safrina]

"Play?" she asked. "Aren't you a little...old to play?"

[wolfishgirl]

"You're never to old to have fun." The lion said as he rolled back onto his feet. "Come on, i'll show you." with that he pounced on the lion.

[Safrina]

Safrina's eyes went wide and she stared up at him, shocked. Her pupils were dilated, and as she leaned up, trying to get up, she brushed his cheek with her muzzle. She smiled, not knowing she had done that, and batted his ear with a paw.

[wolfishgirl]

"see you're getting the hang of it" Nyatui said as he rolled off of her and crouched down playfully.

the chicken watched her son and the lioness interact with a happy smile on her face...

[Safrina]

She smiled, then pounced on him. She laughed.

laughing Nyatui rolled so he was on top of her, pinning her to the ground.
