Little did the two lions know, Zira was watching them from up a tree. She hopped off and ran to the outlands, summoning Kovu with an all mighty roar!

Kovu was still depressed about his breakup with Kiara, and it showed. He went to his mother. "What do you want?" he asked in a rather annoyed tone.

Zira scowled, "You precious Kiara is pregnant, you mongrel." Saying before looking at him. "It's your doing."

Kovu looked away, ignoring the insult. "So, what do I do now? I can't just go back there. Simba will kill me for sure!" he said when he finally turned back.

Zira chuckled. "Dear. I already have a plan forming. The cub will be born before their wedding, and we will attack, on their wedding, when they are all vulnerable. Kill everylion in the Pridelands. Take Vitani's cubs and Kiara's cub, and lead them to be our successors." Cackling a bit as her pride did the same.

Kovu tried not to flinch as he heard his mother's wicked laughter. "And what do I do if Vitani attacks me? She's stronger than I am," he said.

Zira stopped laughing. "Kovu, Kovu, You have much to learn. Once we have her cubs in our paws, she'll do anything to keep them alive!" Smiling, with glowing eyes. Pleased with her mind blowing plan.

Kovu nodded and looked ahead of them. "I submit to your plan," he said.

Zira nodded, "Do you understand, Kiara will have to die." Saying in mere silence, waiting for a reaction.

Kovu nodded. "She is the daughter of your enemy and is deserving of death. Her blood shall pay for Scar's," he said, though, inside, it hurt him to do so.
