[Open] The Struggle

Rafiki walked to camp slowly, his old joints aching. When he sensed that he was being followed. He pretended that nothing was wrong and then spun around. He saw a strong young lion behind him. "leave us in peace lion. this is not your place yet." Rafiki told him and then continued on his way.

[Princess Renee]

Renee saw Rafiki "uncle Rafiki" she grinned bouncing down to him "Rafiki!"

Fathi was following the crazy monkey, wondering what he was talking about when he saw a small cub bouncing toward the monkey. Yelling out "Uncle Rafiki." hmm... that's the monkey's name.... odd. he thought, though something was niggling in his mind trying to get out, but he couldn't remember. He started to run, and cut off the cub.

[Princess Renee]

Renee looked up at the lion, she crouched down and started to growl. Being an outsider gave her a bad personality.

Fathi slowed down as he approached the unknown cub. and stalked carefully toward her. trying not to frighten her. He wasn't used to other lions though. especially cubs. but this one reminded him of his little sister...

[Princess Renee]

Renee growled scratching the tip of his nose "leave me alone"

Fathi was surprised at the ferocity of this little cub. so suprised that he actually jumped back. "Wait, I just want to talk to you." he called to the cub that was starting to run away.

[Princess Renee]

Renee stopped to catch her breath and turned around "you dont want to kill me" she asked tilting her head.

"Of course not!" Fathi said disgusted, "why would I want to kill such a young lioness?"

[Princess Renee]

Renee shruggged "mother and father were killed by another lion" she said frowning.
