Dotty growled. "Vitani is now at Pride Rock. Furthermore, she's now the queen. I doubt she'd want to leave with you. She's happily mated to the new king," she said.

Kali's eyes seemed to flicker red for a moment in anger, he snarled loudly.
"Vitani is my daughter, she will do what I say!".

Dotty was completely unmoved by his outburst. "She rejected you and her mother when she joined King Simba's side. She would never listen to you," she said.

Vitani smiled at Kopa with a slight purr as he licked her cheek and nuzzled her. She watched him as he leaved to go off to his patrol, before looking at Rafiki with a confused expression as the mandrill said what he had said. "What do you mean?"

Rafiki looked at the queen. "I mean that someone from your past will be returning. He will be a threat to you and the pride," he said. He thought about it. "You must not give in to his temptations," he added.

Vitani looked just as confused as she was a moment ago. 'His temptations?' she thought to herself, looking at the mandrill again. 'Someone from my past? Mine in particular?' she said to Rafiki, "Thank you for informing me." she didn't know why Rafiki hadn't told this while Kopa was still there, but she would tell him herself later.

Rafiki nodded. "You are welcome. It is indeed someone from your past, Queen Vitani. I can say no more. You must face dis for yourself," he said, giving a slight bow.

Vitani managed a slight smile, despite how confused it was. "Thank you again." once the mandrill was gone she headed back into the den to think over things. She had no idea that the threat Rafiki mentioned was going to arrive sooner than she anticipates.

Dotty growled at Kali. "Look, if you don't don't leave now, I will inform the king and queen and they will deal with you. Be smart and get out of here this instant," she said.

Rafiki nodded and then left. Meanwhile, having seen nothing worth investigating, Kopa returned to Pride Rock. Immediately, he went to Vitani. "Hey good-looking. What's going on?" he said to her.

Vitani snapped out of her deep thoughts when Kopa arrived back. "Hey." she said with her usual blush, nuzzling her mate. She then remembered her talk with Rafiki and figured that she should tell him about it. After giving him a short summary of the talk with the mandrill, she let out a sigh. "Do you think we should worry?"
