Strangers in the Pridelands [PRIVATE]

Kiara quickly approached the strange lioness who was still awake, but only barely. For a split second, their eyes met, and Kiara could tell that although she was almost unconcious, the sight of them somewhat frightened her. "It's all right, we're going to help you." Kiara said softly, trying her best to remain calm, "We'll help you and take you somewhere safe, do you understand?"
The lioness nodded, opening her mouth as if she wanted to say something but realising, perhaps, that she was too weak to talk at that moment. Kiara looked from her father to Rafiki with an anxious look on her face, wondering what would happen now.

Simba looked at the lioness. "Don't worry, we mean you no harm," he said.

Isoke gazed at the lion in wonder. He looked so majestic, and the sound of his voice made her feel strangely calm, despite being in so much pain she could barely breathe. The world was spinning, dissolving into nothing but a massive blur. "I think I'm dying." she whispered, more to herself than anyone else, before everything went black and she fainted again.

"She's not seriously injured." Rafiki concluded a few moments later, having examined the lioness carefully, "She does have a strange wound on her neck, but it's not deep and looks clean. But she's dehydrated and hasn't eaten anything in a long, long while." He shook his head. "Poor thing. We must take her to Pride Rock and make sure she gets some water, or she'll die."

"Then let us get her some water and get her to Pride Rock," Simba said as he began to move towards the waterhole.

Kiara shuddered as she scanned the landscape, unable to escape the feeling that there was something else out there..something dangerous..
She gazed at the strange lioness. Her pelt was darker than Kovu's even, and although she looked young, she was most certainly very small for her age. There were no lions like that close by. So where had she come from?

The walk back to Pride Rock seemed to last for several hours but by the time they returned, everyone was still busy minding their own businesses. No one even paid much attention to them at first, however within few minutes, most of the pride members had noticed that there was a stranger in their midst. While Rafiki went to get some water, Kiara helped her father to gently place the still unconcious lioness on the ground in the shade of a tree.

Simba looked at his daughter. "You have done well, Kiara. I can see that you will be a great queen one day. Also, allow me to apologize for everything I did before, including exiling Kovu," he said.

"Oh.." Kiara beamed at her father. "Thank you, dad. It's ok, by the way. I know you were just trying to protect me." She smiled.

Simba never broke eye contact with his daughter. "Yes, I was, but I went about it totally the wrong way. I overreacted. I just didn't want to lose another family member," he stated.

Vitani came out from her den and yawned from the nap she had. She looked around and went to take a drink to the waterhole. But she heard someone in the bushes walking. "Who's there!?" Vitani said and turned around to the moving bush. "Come out, who-ever you are..." Vitani looked at the bush with her blue eyes.

From the bush came out a Navy-Blue lioness with blond side hair and tail-tuft. She had violet-scarlet eyes and was a bit shivering from Vitani.

Vitani looked at the lioness and asked. "Who are you?" she said looking at the scared teen lioness.

Kiara gave Simba a quick nuzzle. "I know. I understand. And I bet I'll understand even better when I have a child of my own." She gazed back at the unconcious lioness. "Where do you reckon she came from?" She asked.
