[Closed] Mother's tears that were never cried...

Balozi described the lion as best as he could. The lion was definitely male. And young. But that's all I know. He was too far to get anything else. What should we do? he also asked. I don't think that it might be safe hanging out here with Giza, with other lions in area. Might be hostile.

Balozi didn't know if Giza could survive a long journey. He looked weak, and carrying him would slow them down a lot. But so would letting him follow them. Not moving was a dangerous gamble, but so was moving. Abandoning the cub was out of the question.

OOC: Taking over from LionPrincess because she hasn't posted in a good while.

Amani finally woke up. "Sorry, Kuchan...I was deep asleep" she said tiredly. "That's no excuse!" he replied angrily. "Go now and get my breakfast". So Amani and Nimu headed out, they soon caught up with Vah. "Morning son, find any prey yet?".

Dafina thought for a good while about this. "Let's wait a few days...build his strength up" she later replied. She also could see how weak the little cub was, it definitely was to risky either way.

Giza was still asleep after so many hours. It was probably because of how weak and hungry he was, despite the fact that he got to nurse from Dafina some time earlier. He then slowly began waking up. At first it was just some movements from the little cub, but at some point he slowly opened his eyes. He immediately noticed that he was cuddled up to a lioness, and recognised Dafina from when he nursed from her earlier. He just lay there silently and looked at the lioness, still feeling a little too weak to move or talk.

2 days later Giza was finally able to mutter a few words. It was early morning when Dafina woke up, she found Giza awake and sitting outside the cave, "Good morning little one".

Meanwhile all of Kuchan's pride were out hunting, from now on he made them get up and hunt early in the morning, Amani was already tired out. She saw Vah slowing down, "Oh, Nimu? Give him a smack for me? He shouldn't be slowing down!".

Vah panted slightly as he stopped to catch his breath. The last few days had been tough on him due to Kuchan's constant demand for food. He had almost no rest other than when henwas eating or sleeping. He didn't even get much sleep at all, as he was being woken up earlier than usual by Kuchan every single day. It was breaking him. Not as much as Kuchan surely hoped, however. Vah knew that soon he would have to leave his family. It was something he was looking forward to, really, but he needed to choose the right time and unfortunately, now wasn't the time.

Vah heard the familiar, ordering voice of his father, commanding Nimu to stop Vah slacking. The anger inside Vah immediately began to build up as he looked over his shoulder towards Nimu. He stared to growl, baring his teeth and unsheathing his claws. If anybody even dared to get close to him, he would retaliate. With force. He didn't care if he injured anybody, he just wanted to be as far away from everybody as possible. Especially Kuchan.

Giza was sitting by the entrance of the cave and looking into the distance untill he heard Dafina's kind and soothing tone. He looked around at the lioness with a shy smile, "Good morning ma'am." he was feeling alot better than the way he had been feeling when she found him weak and dying.

"I keep telling you Giza, call me Dafina", she replied with a grin. Dafina went of for a few seconds and caught a mouse. She padded back to Giza and dropped the mouse at his feet, "There you are, eat up, were moving to a different den, closer to the river today". Giza looked slightly worried to Dafina, but she took no notice, "It'll be ok" she said softly. Dafina padded off to find Balozi.

Giza just stared up at Dafina and slowly nodded at what she said. Moving to a den that was closer to the river sounded nice. That way the little cub wouldn't have to walk so long just to get some water. He watched the lioness leave before going over to the mouse and eating it like he was told.

OCC: NTLQ should be posting now, but she isn't.....

Nimu was very surprised with Vah angry turn. She frowend and turned to Amani. Amani looked over at Vah, "Mind what you do boy, otherwise I shall tell you're father" she growled. She watched Vah pad ahead of her and Amani cuffed him round the ear, leaving a terrible cut, "You've had a warning now, don't make me tell Kuchan".

((OOC: She has stopped RPing for 2 months. She created a topic in the den about it that tells you why she's temporarily stopping. Just a quick heads up. EDIT: who was she playing? I'll take her character if you want.))
