Vitani said, "I like that idea." she smiled, "There's still time to think about this though."

(( Maybe we could have a rogue lion / lionesses / both suddenly enter the pridelands? =O ))

OOC: Ok, sounds good. I like the both idea.

Kopa smiled. "That's one of many things I love about you, Vitani. You always manage to help me out," he said. Little did he know, however, that two newcomers would arrive soon.

OOC: I'm guessing that since you're Nguvu and I'm Saba, that I'll take the lioness and you'll take the lion. Maybe they could be siblings? Or maybe just friends? I dunno, it's not of too much importance.

Vitani also smiled, "That's what I'm here for."

OOC: maybe the two newcomers could run into Saba since she's out by the waterhole? We could say they were thirsty from the journey and were looking for water.

OOC: Fair enough. I like the siblings idea best. The male will be called Hamet.

Hamet and his sister had been walking for some days. Finally, they entered the Pridelands. They made it to a waterhole. It was there that Hamet noticed a lioness resting by the waterhole. She was quite lovely. He continued to look at her.

OOC: I just finished reading Shakespeare's Hamlet. Any connection? =O I'll call the sister Ophelia.

Hamet's sister, Ophelia, was walking next to him the entire time. After walking for such a long time the only thing she needed was water. Since her brother was kind of the one leading the way, she waited for him to walk towards the waterhole, and once he didn't, she noticed the lioness that was sleeping there. She couldn't tell for sure, but the lioness seemed to be around their age. She looked at Hamet and saw him staring at the lioness, "Hamet?" she wasn't surprised to find out that there were already lions living in such a beautiful place. It also wouldn't take her too long to realise that Hamet was finding the lioness attractive if he just continued to stand there and stare. "I think we should go for it. If she's not friendly, we'll just leave. We're two so she wont be able to harm us."

OOC: I heard that TLK is based on Hamlet. Now that I've read it I can really see that it's true =O

OOC: Well, the name "Hamet" was taken from a man from North Africa living in the 1800's who participated in the Barbary Wars.

Hamet decided to go up to the lioness. "Uh, hello," he began. He was very wary. He knew that she might be aggressive.

Ophelia walked over to her brother's side and waited for a respone from the lioness. After a few moments in which there was no reply she looked at her brother, "She's asleep."

Hamet looked back at his sister. "Well, perhaps we should find a place where we can sleep. Perhaps we can speak with her tomorrow," he said. He then began to scan the area for a suitable den.

Ophelia nodded but just as she was about to start looking around them for a place they could stay at she saw Saba begin to stir. She nudged her brother's shoulder to get his attention without making any noise that might startle the lioness. Saba eventually stood up and, after a few moments of looking around, noticed the two newcomers. She was a bit startled, having never seen anybody else beside her pride members before. Ophelia hoped that they hadn't just started on the wrong foot. "Uh, hello..." she said, offering Saba a smile.
