Jay was confused - he hadn’t seen Conal since he left. And if he was with Kayla, why wasn’t he here now? These thoughts did not help with Jay’s mood. Jay mutters something inaudible to himself.

Heads of lions & lioness turn looking for anyone who had seen him. It was clear nobody had seen him since he’d left. The last person to see him was in fact Kayla. “Typical of him.” Jay growls.
