Umeme held back a chuckle when Lina finally got up, and inquired about the zebra. "Yeah," Umeme said, smiling, "we caught it just earlier today." She motioned for Lina where they had dropped off the kill. Seeing how Lina eyed the meat, Umeme grinned again. "You're hungry, huh?" she asked, "worried so much about Delano that you forgot to eat? Well, now you can stop worrying, and we did the hunting for you."

Realizing just how hungry she was, Lina was about to walk straight over to the zebra when she suddenly remembered Delano was there. It probably wouldn't feel nice for him to wake up because he her suddenly moving away, so she decided to wake him up first. "Delano," she started softly, nudging him, "Wake up, Umeme and Muroki caught some food for us." she had no doubt that he was ten times hungrier than she was.

Delano slowly became aware that someone was nudging him, and immediately froze, afraid to discover himself in the dark cave again. He opened his eyes to see who it was, and let out a sigh of relief when he saw that it was Lina. "Hey," he said softly, smiling at her as he started to relax again. When he heard Lina mention food, his stomach rumbled loudly, reminding him that it had been a long time since he last ate.

Delano ignored the pain in his leg as he got up and followed Lina to the zebra. He sat down next to the kill and right away began devouring at it, enjoying the taste of the meat. As he ate, he looked over at Lina, also eating away at the kill, but didn't say anything. He was too hungry to interrupt his meal just yet.

As Muroki watched Delano walk after Lina towards the zebra and was able to notice his limping despite him ignoring the pain. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to place the zebra closer to him so that he wouldn't have to walk. Suddenly he began to wonder about Delano's leg; whether it will heal on it's own and how long will it take or whether they should take Delano to someone who understood those things better.

Umeme followed Muroki's concerned gaze and saw that he was looking at Delano's limp. Wanting to comfort him, Umeme placed a paw on Muroki's. "He'll be fine," she whispered, "it might be a good idea to see a healer about that, but he'll be fine." Truth be told, like Muroki, she wasn't sure herself, but she didn't want to give up hoping just yet.

Next to them, Delano wasn't aware that he was a cause for concern. After a while, he finally finished eating, and slowly got up to walk over to Muroki. But as he tried moving over, his leg started to burn and he sat down again, deciding that it would hurt him to much to try and walk again. Feeling ashamed at not being able to move, he looked away from Lina, not wanting her to see him.

Muroki looked at Umeme with a smile and gently nuzzled her. She always seemed to know just what was bothering him, which was one of the many things he loved about her. Lina meanwhile also finished eating, and was glad to see that Delano was also done eating because now she knew that he was no longer hungry. However she didn't really feel calm about the way he was looking away form her. "Is something wrong?"

Delano didn't look at Lina when she spoke to him. "I-" he hesitated, not feeling like admitting how weak and helpless he felt. He sighed and placed his paws over his head, trying to hide from the world. "Nothing's wrong," he muttered, "I'm fine." What he really felt like doing was getting up and walking away, but he wasn't able to do that, only dampening his already somewhat foul mood.

Lina raised an eyebrow at Delano's attempt at pretending as if nothing was wrong. Not only did she knew him well enough to know when he was ling to her, but anybody whose brain was functioning properly would be able to tell that Delano was not telling the truth. "Delano, you know you can't lie to me. What's the problem?"

Delano sighed in annoyance. "Nothing's the problem!" he said, almost shouting, "I'm fine!" He knew that Lina was not buying anything he said, but he didn't feel like saying anything yet. All he wanted was to be left alone for a while. "Just... go way," he told her, "go... Just go."

Nearby, Umeme heard Delano and Lina, and immediately grew worried. "Are they going to fight again?" she whispered to Muroki, "because I really don't want them to... And what's going on anyways?"

Muroki slowly shook his head at what Umeme said, obviously being just as clueless as she was. He simply sat there and watched, hoping that it wouldn't end up like the last time they fought. Lina simply stared at him before turning around and walking away. This time she wasn't hurt like last times. She's had enough, and there was a frown on her face to prove it. At least there was a good thing about Delano's leg being broken, because she didn't want him to follow her.
