"Mama! Saffy messed up my clawing!" Bianca whined, running up behind.

Kovu walked to the den, Kiara by his side, and approached Simba and his queen. "Simba, sir," he said shakily, "We have something to tell you."

Simba looked at Kovu. "What is it?" he asked.

"Well, I know that Anakin is Kiara's suitor, and that he was sent here to fall in love with her. But... the truth is, I love her." He breathed a sigh of relief.

Simba continued looking at Kovu. "Well, there's a lot to talk about. Do you love her for who she is and not for her royal blood?" he said.

Nala's blue eye went from Kovu and then back to Kiara, she kept them focused on her daughter. "Kiara, what about Anakin. You've led him on...?" she spoke softly shaking her head. A worried look crossed her delicate features as Simba addressed the two with questions. "Simba I think we need to speak to Kiara...Alone." she said sternly. Nala knew somethings could not be helped, but Kovu?

Mheetu heard Bianca's whine and he looked at her, "Whats a matter Bianca?" he asked softly before hearing her address Vitani. His green eyes looked at Saffy, "Sarafina apologize this minute to your sister.." he ordered.

"Why..." Saffy muttered turning to look at her father with a pout.

Chaka placed his paw atop of Folle's and rubbed it very worried. He wondered exactly what was going on, having a loved so severely ill was not his strong point. He looked at her deep in the eyes and half smiled as she managed to finally stop yelling and speak to him. "I would... but I think it would be better if you stay here and rest, Rafiki coming to you." he nuzzled her neck fur suddenly interrupted by Anakin. He shot him a 'not the best time' glare.

The long days of travel had made Geni's legs much more stronger and had made her gain time by making her able to take big steps and do jump-length spurts while running. This day she had decided to take a rest from being the careful leader and was glad Monstro took her place. She chuckled at Monstro's worried question. "Don't worry, you're fine. Just a few more 10 miles from here and we have to start heading northwest." She squinted and looked high above to see the Sun's location in the sky and the cloud movements. The scarred lioness' face suddenly jolted down. Luckily she was able to capture they were still heading west. What she didn't know, was that in a few minutes their lives would be put at risk in a monstrous sandstorm.
