Adofo: SKY! SKY! It's okay!

[Iri]

"I drowned again," Sky growled. "In my dream, that is. How can anyone be so sure that I will not drown in real life?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: I'll be sure! I won't let it happen!
Adofo made her rest her head on his shoulder as her rubbed her back.
Adofo: Daddy will NEVER let you die! I'll always be here to keep you safe!

[Iri]

[How does he know that she won't die...? >:)]

Sky didn't reply. Her neck fur bristled. "How do I know I'm not just dead, right now?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Baby....look at me! You are fine! As long as I'm here, that's how it will stay!

[Iri]

Sky shook her head and settled down. But she didn't fall asleep.
Dawn broke out over the horizon. Sky hadn't slept all night.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Alright....it's time to head back. Sky....I know you haven't slept so I'll carry you.

[Iri]

Sky yawned. "I'm fine," she mumbled.

[Adofo]

Adofo: No you're not. Don't argue. Just rest the entire way back.
Adofo picked her up and carried her back to Priderock. They made it back and he laid Sky in her bed. Most of the Pride was out. Sky finally fell asleep. Crystal and Yekize make it back from their hunt.
Crystal: Baby! Adofo we missed you so much!
Crystal and Yekize snuggle up on both sides of Adofo and kiss him so much they take off all his face paint.
Crystal: We really missed you!

"How's Sky?" Yekize asked. "I mean... I know she's not my cub, but... she's kin. So, how is she?"
