Tanga laughed back at her and gave chase, although he only kept to a steady jog, knowing his small body had no hope of keeping up with her.
Finally, as they reached the hill, Tanga remember how Sarabi had described it, and walked around the hill instead of over it. "This way, Marini. The way Sarabi said it, going up the hill will put us at the top of the cliff, and we don't want to be there."
----------
Sarabi nodded. "Of course I will," she said, before looking back outside. The sun had slipped below the horizon, and the world was quickly becoming shrouded in darkness. Where is Simba...and Nala? she thought to herself. She did not move, though, deciding she would give them a few more minutes to get back before going looking for them.
----------
Nala stared at Simba as he backed away from her, knowing he had begun to piece it together. "Simba...?" she called hesitantly, seeing the rage on his face. "Simba, talk to me, please!"
----------
Scar looked up at the rapidly darkening sky, and decided it was time he got back. "I have to return to Pride Rock...just remember, try and avoid the Pridelands for a few weeks, and remember that I will call you when I'm ready to stage Simba's hunting accident."
