"I'll prove im not all talk!" She snarled, leaping up and pacing towards Shinova.

"Rayn.. enough.. Your embarrassing yourself, You don't fight friends" Nova sighed.

Lyra looked at Tago with a puzzled expression. 'I wonder why Rayn is so unsure of leopards' the lioness asked.

'She obviously just doesn't like them' Tago replied.

"Especially when you'd lose." Shinova teased. "Enough about that. Rayn what has got you so up tight anyway? You seem quite upset. You just don't like the Leopards? Jengo was the real enemy. You can't blame a whole race. It's not like you never played with one." Shinova expressed. "You should listen to you mother too. She's much wiser than you think even though she lets her feelings control her sometimes."

Nova raised an eyebrow at Shinova's words. The lioness shook her head and held her tongue this time, but Rayn was having none of it. She was seething.

"You forget who spent alot of her cubhood with them. You have no idea what went on. If anyone has a right to hate the race, it's me!" She growled not letting herself lower her stance. She still wanted to fight Shinova.

Ace we know and Mio was sorry and couldn't live with himself until we got you back. He missed having you around. He would be in the corner and could not sleep he only thought about you.

"You think I'm going to fight you? What have you got to prove? You think you had a bad cub hood? Try watching you parents die in front of you when you can do nothing about it. Try wandering the desert in total desperation without food, water, or even a will to live. Then when you finally find a reason to live watch as it's torn asunder by the very race you hate. You're picking a fight you can't win." Shinova retorted. Shinova lowered his stance and looked into her eyes. "I've fought much bigger Lions than you in my time away from here. I won't hurt you, but I'll sure put you in your place if you come at me." he growled.

'I think we know why Rayn doesn't like leopards. It must have been hard for her'.

Tago nodded 'Yes it doesn't sound like it was very nice' he agreed.

When they saw Shinova and Rayn readying to fight each other, the lion and lioness looked on worried.

Ace stood between them this is no time to fight we are family so why are we going to fight about the past. It is over and there is nothing we can do about it now. Lets just move on and enjoy our lives.

"Stay out my way" Rayn snarled walking past her brother, making sure to barge into Shinova as she walked past and off into the jungle.

"Well that was awkward" Vex said once Rayn had left.

"Indeed it was. I would have only pinned her down anyway. She needs to cool off." Shinova said. "I'm going to go find me something to eat. Coming Meeko?" He asked as he looked down at the meerkat. He was remembering all the things he went through as a cub. "How could she be so ungrateful? What's gotten into her?" He thought.
