Adofo: I know this is asking for a lot but......I wanted that you and me spent 2 days every week.....being like we were. Back when.....you were my baby girl! ......I know you'll just say no....but it's okay.....I just wanted to ask.

Arida felt a rush of warmth. "Of course!" she purred. "But one thing... it'll have to be a day when I get breaks off of my Osain work. But you know I get two days off every week. So I'll do it!" She purred again and nuzzled her grandfather's hand.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You will?!?!
Adofo grabbed her and pulled her close giving her a big kiss.
Adofo: Thank you baby! I love you so much! I have the best granddaughter EVER!

[Iri]

Arida purred and rubbed her head against his chin. "Love you too," she murmured.

[Adofo]

Later that night, Anga was sleeping near Adofo, wrapped up in his hoodie. And Arida right next to her grandfather.
Adofo: *whispers* Arida......i really am sorry. I honestly thought you hated me! Just the thought of that......it just destroyed me.

[Iri]

Arida stirred and flicked her ears, but didn't reply. Asleep, comfortable right next to her grandfather, she didn't wake.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I love you so much!
He scooted in closer and held her tight.

[Iri]

The next day, Arida woke up. Seeing that Anga and her grandfather were asleep, she quickly gave Adofo a lick on his cheek and trotted along happily through the savanna, collecting herbs, until she saw a tall human figure.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Morning Anga! Morning Ari-....Arida!??

[Iri]

Arida slowly backed up from the human. She saw that the human had three others with it. She was successful in slowly backing off, until her paw got caught in a round, jagged metal loop.
