[Stormy]

After, Nicki dashes back towards her home, taking the long way instead of trying to jump the gap again. After quite a bit of running, she eventually makes it back. She tries to silence her heavy breathing as she quietly walked into the cave and collapsed in her normal sleeping spot and quickly dozed off to sleep.

"Oh, Nicki. There you are." Kayla spotted her, "Wore yourself out by playing in the snow?"

[Stormy]

Nicki jerked up. “Huh?” She says looking tiredly over to Kayla. “Oh, yeah.” She says before laying her head back down.

She then picks her head back up. “Hey Kayla? What would be your opinion on a non lion that has no family in the pride?" She asks. "Just out of sheer curiosity."

[TheLastLion]

Kayla thought about the question for a few moments before answering, "Well, it depends..."

[Stormy]

“On?” She questioned.

"It depends on that loner's background and the first impression." She replied.

[Stormy]

Nicki raised an eyebrow. “I’ve been told stories of when Flash got to this pride when he was a cub. You’re telling me he passed both of those things in your radar?”

[TheLastLion]

"Well, yes... and no." Kayla responded, "I was one of his biggest advocates, but Flash had to earn the trust of the more skeptical members of the pride."

[Stormy]

“Why were you one of his biggest advocates? What was so special about HIM?”

[TheLastLion]

"Sadie liked and trusted him. That was at least enough to give me the benefit of the doubt about him." She explained.
