Adofo: ......that's all I needed to hear!
He pulled in his granddaughter for a big hug and an even bigger kiss.
Adofo: I'm so sorry! I love you so much! I just miss my little girl that used to run and play with me!You just seemed to stop caring.....and that's what broke my heart! I thought I had lost the best granddaughter in the world!

Arida purred. "It's all right," she said quietly. "I never stopped caring... and I never will."

A few days later, Arida has news to share.
"Anga is awake!" she announced.

[Adofo]

Adofo runs as fast as he can to the cave and slowly walks up to her side.
Adofo: Anga.....Anga is that you?

[Iri]

Anga looked up at him, her eyes bleary. "Dad?"

Adofo: Yes baby! Daddy's here!
He gently picks up her paw and kisses it.

[Iri]

Anga purred weakly. "Dad, what happened? Why was I knocked out?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: You were hunting and the zebra's stampeded over you! Do you remember?

[Iri]

Anga shook her head. "Only faintly," she said. Her voice sounded different... distant, blurred-out...

[Do you want a few of the lions and lionesses to go with Simba to a "civilized" place like a city or something?]

[Adofo]

Adofo: Well it's okay princess!
He lies down and holds her in his arms.
Adofo: Daddy's right here! And he's not going anywhere! Arida.....I have a proposition for you.
