Adofo: All i ever wanted was to live in peace.........but ever since my dad's death.......they keep talking to me! In my head! They said it's my fault! That everything is my fault! THEY MAKE ME LISTEN!!!!!! THEY WON'T GO AWAY!!!!! The only thing that has ever worked is spending time with the ones I love! That's why I have to spend all my free time with them....with you....so they'll go away!.......now you know......I'm crazy!

Arida hissed. "I gathered that," she growled. "If you're leaving..." She started to tear up. "Fine!" She ran back into her cave.

[Adofo]

Adofo started to walk away. he walked past an old tree and heard a noise. He looked up and the tree was falling, with it inches from his head. It fell on top of him. Arida ran out to see what happened. Adofo was unconscious.

[Iri]

Arida growled. "Oh, wonderful," she snarled. Reluctantly she dragged Adofo into the cave and treated his head wounds. Within a few hours, Adofo wakes up.

[Adofo]

Adofo: ......A........Arida?

[Iri]

Arida growled. "Yeah, it's me," she hissed. "The granddaughter who you thought didn't love you. Go figure."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Really.....you don't sound like you love me......look.....I'm sorry.......It wasn't because of anyone else that I was going to leave.....it was you! Only you. You say you love me but......I know you're ashamed of me. A human as your grandfather.......I knew it was only a matter of time before someone in the family would turn out like that.You say you love me.....but in your tone.....there's no love.....only hate........I know you would like to choose anyone else in the pride to be your grandfather......around the time you became an Osain..........I heard you talking with your mother about you being ashamed of your human blood......that's when I tried everything I could to be with you....to bond......to save our relationship........but I know it's too late......I'm sorry I wasn't the grandfather you wanted........that's why I was going to leave.....so you wouldn't have to see me again.

Arida snarled. "You blame that on me," she snorted. "You act as if you're a mind reader, as if you know precisely what others are thinking. Well, you know what? You can't read minds! I'm not ashamed of you, so stop acting like I am because I don't like it!"

[Adofo]

Adofo: DON'T LIE TO ME!!!!! I overheard you talking to your mother about your human blood and that you hated being part human! That it made you weak and pathetic!.....it broke my heart.

[Iri]

Arida growled. "Did I say that?" she spat. "No, I didn't! Do you ever get the feeling that sometimes you hurt me?! By accusing me of something I never said, by calling me a liar, by unfairly telling me that I'm 'ashamed' of your blood in my veins! For the last time, and Great Kings forbid you don't listen to me, I do love you! Listen, sometimes I don't show it, and I'm sorry, but I can't spend every second of my life with you! I have duties, responsibilities!" Angrily she turned on her heel and left the cave.
