As the snow leopard continued to flee, he noticed that both he and Nicki were fast approaching a wide chasm. He looked startled, but soon figured that he could shake the lion cub chasing him. Using his momentum, the snow leopard leaped across. He watched Nicki coming to a screeching halt on the other side, thinking (and hoping) that she wouldn't attempt to follow him.

[Stormy]

N’Kalla became a bit hesitant before backing up. It didn’t look THAT big of a jump.

[TheLastLion]

The snow leopard widened his eyes when he saw Nicki backing up. She was actually going to do it, she was actually going to try and jump the gorge. The snow leopard was unsure of how this would end, but he was at least curious.

[Stormy]

She takes a deep breath before running and taking the jump. What felt like slow motion to her, ending quick as she made it. Well, kinda. She grabbed onto the ledge slamming her body to the side, knocking the wind out of her. - but she still held onto the edge.

[TheLastLion]

The snow leopard approached the edge of the other side of the crevice awaiting what Nicki would do next.

[Stormy]

Nicki struggled greatly trying to pull herself up, she couldn’t. She looks at the leopard that was basically standing over her now and gives out a nervous laughter.

[TheLastLion]

The snow leopard had a neutral expression on his face as he watched Nicki struggle.

[Stormy]

Nicki’s expression changes slightly as she saw the leopard showing no emotion or any need to help her. At this point, she started to try harder to pull herself up.

[TheLastLion]

The snow leopard continued to be silent as Nicki contunued to struggle. He watched as she tried to pull herself up, but didn't have the upper body strength due to chasing after him. Then her hind legs began scrabbling against the edge of the gorge.
