Delano stopped shaking Muroki when he heard his brother's voice. Relief washed over him and he lay his head on Muroki's shoulder. "I don't know," he admitted quietly. He didn't feel completely comfortable admitting what he saw in his nightmare to his brother. "I woke up, and you weren't moving... I got scared..." he said, his voice faltering. "I didn't know what to do..."

Muroki lost the small traces of agitation almost right away. He couldn't possibly blame Delano for acting the way he was, not after being locked up in this place on all his own for such a long time. "I'm fine Delano." it seemed like Delano was that frightened that he didn't even notice Muroki's breathing considering they were lying close to each other. If he had noticed he might have not woken Muroki up, but that wasn't of any importance.

Delano nodded his head after a while. "I'm sorry," he said quietly, "it's just that..." his voice died as he began shaking. Feeling lost again, he grabbed one of Muroki's paws and held on tightly. "I can't sleep anymore," he complained, "whenever I do, I end up getting a nightmare... I'm afraid of doing anything anymore, or of being left alone.."

Muroki sighed, "This is all going to be over soon." he said, trying to calm his brother down. "Tomorrow we're going to get through this stupid trial and then they'll let you out. After that you'll come back home with us and we'll be able to leave this whole incident behind us." Delano would have to stay alone until the trial once Muroki left, but after that he wouldn't have to be alone ever again.

"Why does it have to be tomorrow?" Delano asked bitterly, "I was stuck here for so long... you don't know what it's like..." He told Muroki. "sometimes I feel like..." he hesitated, trying to put into words exactly what he felt like. "Well, I already tried running, and now that I can't do that... I sometimes feel like... like I want to die... Die and just get it over with." He began crying again as he realized what he had just said and how much it scared him to hear it.

Muroki sighed as Delano asked why was the trial going to be tomorrow. "Because that's what the police decided." he too wished that this would be over as soon as possible. When Delano said that he'd rather be dead now, Muroki couldn't help but frown. "Don't say that," he said in a rather demanding way, "tomorrow we're getting out of here you hear?" he was kind of beginning to worry. Was Delano going to make it through the night on his own until the trial tomorrow morning?

Delano knew that he got Muroki mad this time, and wanted to hide away from him, but was at the same time to scared to let go of the grip he had on his brother. "But I want to get out now," he said, "I just... I can't take it anymore... it hurts! Everything hurts..." His head fell onto Muroki's shoulder again as Delano tried to accept that he would have to stay in the cave alone for another eternity.

Muroki sighed, knowing that there was no way to convince Delano that the time he would have to spend until the trial was going to be easy, because it wasn't going to be easy, and Muroki didn't want to lie to Delano either. "You can do it, you've survived for two days and nights already... You can do it." he had to do it, it wasn't as if he had any choice, since he wasn't able to go anywhere with the condition of his leg. It again reminded Muroki of just how lucky Delano was that the guards didn't kill him when he tried to escape yesterday.

Delano closed his eyes, not wanting to agree with Muroki and have to face another night alone. "But there had to be a way to get out of here sooner than that..." he said, trying to figure out something. "because... I really don't know how much longer I can stay here. I really don't know..." He nudged Muroki a little. "You have to get me out before that."

Muroki sighed, not wanting to have Delano face another eternity of lonliness either. "You have to, at least for Lina... We'll be here to get you out first thing tomorrow morning, then this will all be over..." he couldn't wait for Delano to finally be himself again, but in order to achieve that they will first have to set him free, and they'll only be able to do that tomorrow.
