She rushed in and gave him a long loving kiss.

Marini chuckled. "Thank you..." Tua's parents were just the sweetest pair.

To say that Kopa was taken by surprise by Vitani's kiss would be an understatement. He continued to stand there, frozen to the spot, even after the kiss had ended. "I... Uh..." His cheeks turned red as he simply stared at her with a dumbstruck look on his face.

Tamu: Marini....you think you could....tell us a little about our boy? If you wouldn't mind that is!

Vitani: I've wanted you to have that for a while...

Marini smiled. "Sure!" How could she deny her parents in law something like that? "What do you want to know?"

Kopa's cheeks turned even redder. "I..." Did Vitani have feelings for him? Had he failed to notice them up until that point since he returned because he had a cub to look after?

Tamu: Well.....I guess anything. Like...hiw'd you two end up together?

Vitani: Kopa...I love you!

Marini continued to smile. "Well... The two of us have lived in the Pridelands for pretty much our entire lives. He asked me out a few months ago." The young lioness giggled. "You should have seen how much effort he out into each of our dates." Tua sure was quite a natural at that sort of thing.

This seemed to take Kopa by surprise even more. His best cubhood friend... loved him? Ever since he'd come back, her company was something he took great pleasure in and even longed for... Was it possible that he was developing feelings of a similar nature? It would certainly explain that familliar, warm feeling in his stomach...

Vitani pushed him down and pinned him to the ground only to lock her lips onto his

Marini nodded. "You have no idea..." she said, smiling sheepishly. She then began describing some of the places Tua had taken her to. "Oh, wait a moment!" Gently placing Nuru down next to Mufasa, she got up and walked into the back of the den before returning with the small wooden sculpture her mate had carved. She hasn't thrown it away. "Look at this!" She giggled. "Isn't it sweet?"

Kopa was once again taken by surprise, but that did not stop him from wrapping his forelegs around Vitani's back and pulling her down as he kissed her back. A soft, pleasant shiver went down his spine as he lay there with her on top of him.

Tamu: He made that!?

Vitani: I know this is moving fast...but I'll give anything to be your mate!

Marini giggled and nodded her head. "Yeah!" She placed it down in front of her parents for them to take a closer look. "Look at the tiny cub!" She giggled again.
