[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Kovu reddened. But he pulled himself together and went into the cave. But he stopped. And turned. "Simba... Thanks."

Simba looked at Kovu. "Thanks for what?" he asked.

Mheetu shook his muzzle a bit, "I don't mean let them leave but if they want to have big dreams let them....anyone can change their stars." he whispered. He rested his head on Vitani's neck softly and let her lean against him. "Good night m'love." he whispered in her furry ear. His mossy green eyes stared at her round belly until he fell asleep, the image of his little ones bounced through his dreams.


Ruby smiled as Kopa licked her cheek softly before returning to the royal den, she frowned at her own empty den. She curled onto the cool stone and nestled her head on her paws, her amber eyes staring outside at the night sky. A part of her missed home but she was happy the Pride lands accepted her and that Kopa did too, she relaxed preparing for bed.


Nala's eyebrow lifted as Kopa bounded into the den along with Kiara, "Well Kopa, what do you think of the new princess? Future Queen?" she asked her son giving him a nuzzle of her own. Her blue eyes looked to Kiara, "Your suitor will be here in the coming days Kiara..." she added with a smile.

"For... for letting me be here. Taking me in. I think I expected hatred," he laughed, "but I got friendship."

Simba smiled. "We welcome everyone here, Kovu, just as long as they don't cause any trouble. The great kings and queens of the past wouldn't want me to hate you. Hatred was what destroyed Scar," he said.

[changa]

"Oh, um... yeah. Thanks again." He entered the den. Whoa, he thought, people are so... lovey here. At least he's not suspicious. ...I don't think,

Vitani went to sleep along with Mheetu, sleeping didn't bother her much. Yet, she still woke during the night as the little ones kicked.

Kopa smiled, "She's the future Queen, I can sense that she is the best for the Pridelands." Pausing. "And for me." Smiling, then walking to his sleeping spot. Nuzzling up, he quickly fell asleep. Ruby danced throughout his dreams.

Soon enough, morning had come. Simba waited as everyone started waking up. "So, how did everyone sleep?" he asked.
