[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Nala turned her head to Kovu and Kiara, "Kiara come over here and meet the Princess." she said sternly eyeing Kovu a bit. She then padded towards Folle and Chaka, "Chaka dear..come welcome the new Princess." she added. "Its only right we give her a welcome, she could potentially be your future Queen." she said with a grin. Her blue eyes flickered as the 3 approached Pride rock and started to make their way up, she reclined back as Simba joined her side.


Ruby nodded, "Of course." she said and followed closely behind Kopa and Simba as they ran to Pride rock. She was the last one up and her honey colored eyes flickered over the small group in front of her. "Hello, I'm Princess Ruby." she said grinning. She walked over to Nala and Simba and bowed her head once more respectively before turning to Kiara and Chaka. "Its a pleasure to meet you Queen Nala and your family."


Nala smiled and looked to Simba, "You too Princess Ruby, but the Pride lands are your home now. So don't worry about titles, just call me Nala." she added giving Simba a light nuzzle. "Thats my daughter Kiara and Kopa's brother Chaka." she said looking over at them.


Mheetu panicked a bit and looked down at Vitani, "Tani...are you okay? Just breath and relax a bit.." he said rubbing his paws over her belly. He stayed under her so her head didnt rest on the hard ground. But if she spoke about needing help he would quickly go track down Nala and a den mother.

Vitani looking up with her glazed eyes, "It's fine, it just hurts. A lot!" Pressing her eyes again and bringing her knees up to ease the pain. "Can you possibly get Nala, if she's busy then just wait for her, please." Cringing again from the pains as tears fell to the ground again.

Kiara bowed, "I'm Princess Kiara, but you can just call me Kiara!" Smiling wide, she sat beside her mother.

Simba went over to Vitani. "Don't worry, 'Tani. Nala went through this exact same thing when she was pregnant. It's normal," he said.

Kovu sighed once again. So Kiara had ditched him too. Why should he care? But he did. At a chance to make friends, (well, sort of) he tried to.

Chaka waited for Nala to go away so he could tell Folle that he wanted to talk more to her later. "See ya soon." he whispered winking. Walking over to Ruby he smiled respectively and welcomed her. "Welcome Princess Ruby, make Priderock your most pleasant home." he said nodding.

Nala nodded her head to her kids, "Alright get out of here you three while I tend to Aunt Tani." she said shushing them off or Pride rock. She walked up beside her Sister-in-law and relaxed at her side. She put her paw on Vitani's belly and rubbed it softly trying to calm her, "You need to relax Tani, take deep breathes." she said trying to reassure her.

Mheetu looked up Simba and then Nala, "But shes in pain...are the cubs coming!?" he said in a bit of a panic. He stayed next to Vitani being her fluffy golden pillow and he nuzzle her cheek, "Breath m'love...breath.." he said softly.


Ruby smiled, "Thank you Chaka and Kiara." she said softly before turning to face Kopa. "Do you want to go for a walk?" she said looking to the young Prince with a smile. Her amber eyes flickered in the sunlight and she was eager to explore this new land.

Simba began to panic. "Vitani, are you all right?!" he said in a worried tone.

Vitani looked up, "I don't know if they're coming, I'm not due for a little while now!" Saying while taking deep breaths like Nala said. Her ears flattened against her head as the pain began to weaken. "It's weakening now, maybe it's going away?" Asking Nala, who has had cubs before.

Kopa smiled, "Sure!" Then hopping off Priderock with Ruby and walking towards the sunset.

Kiara went back to Kovu, "I'm back, Sorry. Kopa's new Queen just arrived. I had to say hello." Apologizing for leaving then walking into the den. "You coming?" Turning her head to look at him, smiling.

Folle looked to Chaka, they were finally alone. "You see me again." Winking then walking off Priderock, "Walk with me, cutie." Side smiling at him, her tail caressing his body.

Simba moved in close to her. "No matter what happens, Vitani, I'll be at your side. I'll even be in the den when the time for them to be born arrives," he said.

Vitani realesed her stress, "Thank you Simba." She said licking his cheek, then turned to Mheetu. "But dear, the father is not supposed to be in the den when the birthing arrives, you'll have to wait until after." Saying to Mheetu, nuzzling his warm face.
