Mlezi stared up at the stars in the cool night sky, "Everything's so beautiful here." She took in her surroundings on their way back, from the sleeping forms of antelope to the gentle sway of grass in the cool breeze.

"Yes it is.. the stars will lit the way.." Nala observed with a smile.

"Y'know, you're a lot like my mum…" She looked around before focusing on the Priderock in the distance, "I must apologize to Simba for some of the things I said, hope he can settle down enough for that at the very least" Mlezi's ears had flattened at that.

"Still, I can understand. He lost his father to Scar as a cub. And me being a cub, I lost both my parents" Mlezi understood fully, "I… wasn't planning to stay long anyhow, just long enough to help in the upcoming battles."

"It was the Shadow Council that attacked me at the waterhole..."

"What's the Shadow Council? What upcoming battle? Everything is peaceful" Nala asked with a puzzled look. "Where would you go after this?"
