Delano smiled. "We grew up together. We lived together our entire lives. Sure, there were times when we were alone, did our own separate things, but for the most part, we did almost everything together." He explained. "So when we..." he hesitated a bit, "...Had to leave, we decided to stick together. And then came here."

Lina's ears flattened against her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." she should have considered that what she said might lead to the subject of the parents of the two.

Delano looked at her. "It's alright," he said, "It's nothing you did."

Lina sighed, "I know. I should have known that what I said might lead to you thinking about that."

"No,it's not that!" Delano said frantically. "It's just that... well I still think about them a lot, so you don't even have to say anything." He explained. "You don't have to worry! It's just that..." He didn't know what else to say, so Delano looked down at the ground. "Sorry for making you fell bad, I didn't mean to." He apologized.

Lina was slightly taken aback, only to calm back down once Delano apologized for his sudden outburst. "It's fine." she couldn't understand how he was feeling but she did know that it was hard for him. "That's me, always worrying about others' trouble as if they were my trouble... I can't really help it..."

Delano smiled a little. "Don't worry about us," he said, "We'll b fine."

Kasi stirred in his sleep, slowly waking up. His ears twitched as he heard voices coming from the outside and forced himself to get up. He walked outside and saw Delano talking with Lina. "Good morning," he greeted them, "How are you guys?"

Lina also managed a smile, before looking around at Kasi as she heard his voice. "Oh, hey Kasi."

Kasi looked at them. "What are you two talking about?" he tried asking. "And for how long have you been up?"

Lina shook her head, "Nothing important. We've been awake for a few minutes... Or at least I was." for some reason she hesitated about telling him what did she and Delano talk about, even though it was nothing personal or embarrassing.
