Ahadi and Uru's Story (Private, KK44 and FlamingBee)

Harufu went to her mate. "I understand your concern, Mohatu. However, you knew the day was going to come when he would acting like this," she stated.

"Harufu, you too know how dangerous Choyo & Kiya could be for our pride; how cunning they can be. I... I just don't want them to use Ahadi's weakness as part of their plot. Think about it; if Ahadi falls in love with their daughter, they can use the connection to get him to do their bidding. The results could be disastrous..." He sighed, looking to the ground as his eyes watered.

Harufu just stared. "Mohatu, how do you know she's their daughter?" she asked.

"Kiya doesn't stop mentioning their dear little 'Uru', precious gem, when I go over the to talk through water treaties with Zuzu... I suppose she likes to remind people who Choyo's mate is," He softly nuzzled her cheek. "Not every lioness is as lucky as you y'know?" He said with a joking tone.

Harufu nodded. Just then, a though occurred to her. "Perhaps it's time we started inviting princesses from other prides to meet Ahadi. Hopefully, he'll meet one he likes and forget Uru," she said.

"Harufu, that is the best idea I've heard all day! I knew you were my queen for a reason..." He winked before calling to his top majordomo to begin preparations; this would most certainly take Ahadi's mind off the strange female. He would find his son in the morning and explain...

He turned briefly to smile at her words; "And I you, my queen..." He finished preparations, and sent Zuzu off to the first potential pride's ruler, before settling for bed, hardly able to keep his eyes open; "Goodnight, my sweet..."
