Marini just said to him, "Why do you do that to her? Don't you think she's been through enough?" Gakuru then realised that he should probably not be there and also left. Dakari hugged her, "You still have me. I'll never leave you."

Mufalfa said, "Why? You wanna know why? She deserves a lot less than she has had in my opinion. She doesn't appreciate what she has." Mzuri smiled in the general direction of Dakari and said, "Let's say a prettier lioness comes around..."

Marini said, "What she has? The only thing she does have is us, and how can she appreciate it when you're never supportive of her?" she noticed her male cub sniffing around and crawling towards Mufalfa, "I don't think they can see yet." she said with a short laugh. Dakari said, "Your burns are far gone. You look exactly the same."

Mufalfa laughed, "The only thing? I find that hard to believe. I have supported her. Who killed the lions who did everything to her? Was it any of you?! No it me, all me and yet she despises me. So if she gives no respect to me I will not give any to her." Mzuri said, "But my eyes aren't the same." Mufalfa then saw the cub crawl around. "He looks exactly like you Marini."

Marini sighed, "Actually you sent Gakuru to kill him... But I guess it counts somehow." she then smiled at what her cub was doing, "Do you think he can understand what we're saying?" Dakari continued hugging her, "I don't care."

Mufalfa shook his head. "I don't think so. I mean they were just born. They probably don't know what is going on."

Marini giggled, "That's what makes it so cute!"

Dakari continued hugging her, "I don't care."

Marini smiled at him, "I know." she said, before reaching out for her cub and grabbing him when she noticed he was going too far.

Dakari sighed, "I'll always say that."

Mzuri just nodded not wanting to get Dakari frustrated.

Mufalfa said, "I'll be back Marini. If you need anything or if you are having trouble catching something to eat just call me over. I'll be back in a few days." He went over to Dakari, "You are coming with me."
