Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Iri]

Shujaa shrugged. "I'm just not sure anymore." She touched her paw to her scars. They reminded her painfully of Kivuli and how he had treated her. But for some reason, she felt absolutely no ill feelings towards him. After the incident, despite Kapuki's reaction, she had made up a million excuses as to why it happened. She hadn't been good enough. She had done something wrong. Her father was just in a bad mood- but she wondered if his mood was really so terrible that he had felt the desire to strike her?

[Adofo]

Enzi put his paw and gently lifted her chin up so she'd be looking in his eyes.
Enzi: Hey.......don't give up. That's the only way you lose. If you stop trying, then it's over. But if you keep going.....you'll get there!
He said with a smile.

[Iri]

"Back off!" Kapuki yelled, racing towards them and standing protectively in front of her sisters. "Lay another paw on her and I'll-"
"Kappy, that wasn't what happened!" Shujaa protested.
"I don't care," Kapuki snarled. "I don't want him touching you."
"Lay off," Chaltuu said, sounding bored. She didn't really care about defending Enzi, but she was growing rather tired of Kapuki's overprotective behaviour- what was so bad anyways? It wasn't like Enzi was trying to hurt Shujaa or anything, and Kapuki was being rather ridiculous. "Quit it, will you?"
Shujaa cringed, her ears flattening against her head again. She knew that Kapuki and Chaltuu didn't get along. She knew that Kapuki was overprotective- for good reason- and she knew that Chaltuu was just sick and tired of Kapuki's demeanor, but what she didn't know was why Chaltuu and Kapuki's sisterly bond had suddenly faltered. Kapuki, when Shujaa was a small cub, always told her about the russet lioness, how kind and how misunderstood she had been. But now they almost looked like they just hated each other.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Okay! Okay....I'm sorry! I won't touch her again.

[Iri]

Shujaa sighed. Her sisters were like hostile mountain goats.
"So, after this," Chaltuu said, waving her paw dismissively, "we'll be heading out to the mountains again. Kapuki, I suppose you'll want to carry Shujaa?" Fortunately, it was dark again.
"Yeah," Kapuki muttered.
"Enzi, is there anything you want to do? Besides, I'd prefer not to drag you on a boring embark with two bickering sisters, a cub who doesn't understand either of us, and the one sister who's the ugliest creature on the planet," Chaltuu said sarcastically.

[Adofo]

Eniz: No.I love you and I'm going to prove it!

[Iri]

[-Gives Enzi the Most Determined Lion of the Year Award-]

"Huh," Chaltuu said with a mirthless laugh. She padded forward without waiting for a response.
"I can walk," Shujaa insisted.
"Fine." Kapuki rolled her eyes, but in an affectionate way. "I guess you and I share something in common- stubbornness."
"Yeah," Shujaa said. She waited until Kapuki had followed Chaltuu before stopping so she could walk by Enzi.

[Adofo]

Enzi made sure not to touch her. So he wouldn't upset her sister.
Enzi: Chaltuu......what can I do to prove to you that you are my soulmate? Anything!?!

[Iri]

"I have no idea," Chaltuu said, shrugging. She didn't really know- but did love really exist? Not to her, it didn't. Besides, why was Enzi so "in love with her" after he had only seen her for a few days? It was ridiculous, in her opinion. Nobody ever fell in love that quickly. It was just impossible.

Enzi: What if.......what if we got married?
