Simba thought about it for a long moment. "Very well," he said. He then took the lamp from Kovu and handed it to Sarafina. He then looked at Nala. "After dinner, go to your balcony. I'll meet you there," he said.

"I better put this in right now. I'll be right back." said Sarafina.

She headed out to the treasury.

"Sure. I'll be there." said Nala.

Zira frowned realizing they needed to know where the key was to steal it.

"Vitani, you've had enough haven't you?" said Zira.

"Well yes but....

"We need to put our things away don't we. This is the closest thing we've had to a holiday in a long time. We should enjoy it." said Zira.

"You're right mother. Let's go." said Vitani.

Zira and Vitani walked to the door, as a couple servants grabbed their things. Zira blinked twice to Scar, sending him as signal, before following Vitani and the servants out into the hall.]

Once they arrived in their room, the servants left leaving behind a couple copies off the room key. Once they were alone, Zira turned to Vitani.

"We must find out where she keeps that key. It'll be too risky to steal it now but tonight while Simba and Nala are on their date, everyone will be too distracted or asleep. The perfect time to strike." said Zira.

"What if she keeps it on her?" asked Vitani.

"She probably keeps it in with her jewelry." said Zira.

She hands the room key to Vitani.

"Swap this key out with it. By the time she realizes it's fake it'll be too late." said Zira.

"A brilliant plan mother but what if her room is guarded. She is the Queen." said Vitani.

"Then we'll plan around that. Once Scar gets here." said Zira.

Back at the banquet, Eden had watched Zira and Vitani leave. She shrugged. They were probably just tired from the long trip.

A short time later, Scar arrived in the room. He looked at his wife and daughter. "Perhaps I can use my staff to hypnotize the vizier into giving us his treasure room key," he said with a wicked smile. Meanwhile, dinner had ended and Simba went out to the garden. From there, he could see Nala on her balcony. Smiling proudly, he got onto the carpet and flew up to her. "Greetings, Princess. Are you ready?" he said.

"Is it safe?" asked Nala, slightly nervous.

Back in Scar's room, Zira nodded listening to Scar's plan.

"That could work two. Perhaps we should use both plans. As long as we get one of their keys we can get into the vault." said Zira.

"But could Father get him alone long enough to do that? If someone else saw him or if the visier called for help...."

"Then I shall be his lookout. But you must retrieve the queen's key in case we fail. Either way before this night's over, we shall have that lamp." said Zira.

"I better leave now then." said Vitani.

She opens the door and heads out.

Zira turns to Scar.

"Now how to get that vizier alone. Perhaps a safety check. After all we wouldn't want Dear Queen Sarabi or Prince Simba to have an accident." said Zira, faking a worried tone.

In the treasury, Sarafina placed the lamp inside and headed out, locking the door behind her. She went to her room, and hid the key, unaware she was leading someone else to the key. A guard was left behind to guard the room, however. Queen Sarafina soon left and headed back to the banquet hall.

Vitani watched in annoyance.

"There must be a way to distract him." thought Vitani.

She spied a vase down the hall as she picked out a pebble from her pocket and threw it. The vase fell shattering to the floor. The guard ran towards it as Vitani quickly slipped into the door, silently closing it behind her. She began her search for the key.

Simba smiled and took Nala's paw in his own. "Of course it is. Do you trust me?" he asked. Meanwhile, Scar and Zira were looking for the vizier. Finally, they found Selim in the hall. "What do you two want?" the jackal asked. Scar grinned and held up his snake staff. The staff's ruby eyes began to glow. Scar forced Selim to look at it. "You will give us your key to the treasury," he said. "I will give you the key to the treasury," he repeated in an almost robotic tone. He then reached into his robes and pulled out the key. He handed it to Scar. Scar turned to Zira. "We have it," he whispered.

"Yes." said Nala, as she took Simba's paw and got on the carpet.

Zira smirked as Scar had retrieved the key from him.

"Excellent. I shall go find Vitani in case she ran into trouble. Get the lamp as quick as you can." said Zira.

Zira made sure the coast was clear as she headed off towards the queen's room.

Vitani wasn't having much luck when she opened a jewelry box. Her mother was right. There was the key. She replaced with the room key, looking outside. With the coast clear, she headed out seeing the guard was still busy cleaning up the vase. She slipped away and soon bumped into her mother.

"I got the key." said Vitani.

"So did your father. Excellent. Not only the genie but the Faiyz treasury at our disposal." said Zira.

Zira grabbed Vitani's arm as they made their way to the treasury.

Back at the banquet hall, Queen Sarafina had arrived and resumed chatting with Sarabi.

Eden turned to Kovu.

"I wonder how their date's going." said Eden.

As soon as Nala was on the carpet, it took off in a rush, flying across Fayiz at an incredibly fast rate of speed. Soon enough, they were flying through open sky, the city far behind them. Meanwhile, Scar was incredibly pleased with himself and his family. They made their way to the treasury and unlocked the door. Soon, they were inside. Scar then found the lamp. "At last, it is ours," he said.

"Now that we have the lamp, what's your first wish going to be?" asked Vitani.

"First we should make the Genie know it has new masters." said Zira.

Out in the city, Nala saw the city below.

"What a beautiful view." said Nala.

Scar smiled at his family. "Let's wait until Simba has returned to unleash the genie. I want to watch his horror at our taking his ally from him," he said as he began to walk back to their chambers. Meanwhile, the carpet ride continued for Simba and Nala. They began to pass through various areas: Persia, Assyria, Babylon, Egypt and so on. "You see, Princess? The world has so much to offer," he said proudly.

Zira & Vitani followed Scar back to their room, locking the treasury doors behind them.

On their date, Nala admired all the cities they road past. She was really starting to enjoy herself.

"You're right. The world has so many wonderful places to see." said Nala.
