Tua: Night my love!

When Tua woke up the next morning Marini appeared to have just gone through another 'false alarm'. "You know what?" she asked with a look of both annoyance and concern on her face. "Perhaps I should stay close to Pride Rock until the cubs are born..." She didn't want to go into labor in a place hat was far away from the rest of the pride.

Tua: Okay. Let's head back. YOu need anything to help settle your stomach?

Marini shook her head. She doubted anything could help her much. Besides, the false alarm had passed. For now. "Let's go back." she said.

Tua gathered up a few things on the way.

Marini looked at her mate curiously as they slowly walked. Moving around with cubs that were due any day now wasn't easy, after all. "What's all this?" she asked, sounding intrigued.

Tua: Just....something.
When they got home he went down to the water hole with all of his stuff. Mixed them all together and brought it back in a bowl shaped rock for his beloved.
Tua: Drink this! It'll make your stomach feel better. It will also make the birthing a little smoother.

Marini looked at the mixture with a raised eyebrow. "Are you sure?" The whole part of her stomach feeling better made sense, but how could he know about making a birth smoother?

Tua: Yeah! Rafiki showed me how to make it.

"Oh! That's so sweet of you!" She licked his cheek and took a sip. "Mmm! That's really good! What's in it?" She asked, drinking some more.
