Santiago just kept to himself during the entire exchange between Zina and Kovu, not wanting to do or say anything stupid as he waited for Zina to perform his duties. As he expected from a shaman, the black maned lion watched as the white lioness prescribed some herbs that she guaranteed would flush out Kiara's digestive tract. His expression became stern as he watched her wink at Kovu, making him suspicious that she was trying to do more than just flirt with the king. Stepping out of Zina's way as he waited for her to leave, he shot the female a glare as she looked at himself and Vitani spitefully before practically hissing at the lioness.

"I really don't like that lioness," The male said in his accented voice as he turned his attention from over his shoulder to Vitani. At this point, he didn't care if the entire Pride Lands knew about his disdain. In fact, the only reason he hadn't said anything while Zina was in the den was because he didn't want to start a fight in front of Kiara or Kovu. Averting his attention once more, the lion looked over to Kiara and Kovu, watching the two as the male lion began the task of medicating his wife.

Sushaunna looked onto the frightened cub below her. She sensed no danger from this lion. He was obediently accepting her dominance. Sushaunna was close to jump down and take a look at his wounds as she had a change of her mind. She did see Daxis as a cub now and therefore did not have any grudge against him but she wondered if this cub would be even more frightened if she now would jump down. Sushaunna knew that wit the cold stare she put on every time when she met a male lion she looked rather scary. She knew why this cub was ducking and waiting to obediently. She was scary right now.

From one moment to the other her icy stare changed into a soft look. She relaxed the muscles in her face what gave away the beauty of her. Her voice - warm, soft and silent - floated to the ears of Daxis. "Don't worry. Sushaunna will not harm you." she winked with one eye and turned around. "Now run after your companion. I think he already got some distance between you." Sushaunna vanished from the sight of Daxis as she returned to the nice spot atop the den's entrance. She curled herself on the rocky ground and closed her eyes again to enjoy the early sun.

Daxis was still captured in sushaunna's eyes and was not dare to make any movements. He relaxed and stood up as she changed her look. It was confusing why she did it but Daxis better not asked the unknown lioness. Daxis made one step back when she allowed it and now when she spoke soft she reminded him of Laini but they were very different too. Laini was quiet and shy and would never think of challenging even just a cub. But both of them let him feel good for just being there. Daxis shook his head and nodded.

Yeah thank you... i better go now...

He turned around and jumped down the few rocks he climbed and was heading towards kivuli. He wasn't waiting for him but walked in a pace that Daxis could catch up in a few seconds. Daxis started running to his side but did not want to talk about his mistake.
