[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Vitani smiled at Nala. "I'm fine, it just hurts to walk as fast as a used to." Then Mheetu asked her, "No, I'm fine getting up." Saying sweetly, as she slowly got to her feet. "Where now?" Asking her family, her back sinking.

Kiara frowned as walked over to Dyanna, "Dyanna, wake up sleepy head!" Nudging the cub with her fore paws.

Simba smiled slightly. "We can go wherever you want, Vitani. Remember, just because you're a mother now doesn't mean you're no longer the princess of Pride Rock," he stated.

Vitani looked at Simba, "Anywhere is fine, I just need to move my bones!" Laughing as the four of them started leaving the den.

Simba nodded, and then began to lead the way. He was so happy for his sister. He looked at her. "If you ever need someone to watch them, don't hesitate to ask me or Nala. We'll be happy to cubsit for you," he said.

Vitani nodded her head, "Thank you, very much." She said, leaning in to nuzzle her brother.

Simba returned the nuzzle. "I was also thinking of having Kiara do it at times. I think it will be good to know what to do when she has her own cubs," he said.

Vitani again, nodded. "Also Kopa and Chaka, they need to learn too!" Laughing, as she pictured cubs with a mix of her and Mheetu's fur climbing all over Kopa and Chaka as the boys sat there, angrily.

Simba nodded. "Yes. They will have cubs of their own one day. They will need to learn. Thank you Vitani for setting me right when I make a mistake. You had to do that on more than one occasion when we were cubs," he said.

Nala smiled at Simba, "We all had to do that more then once when we were cubs!" she teased. "Lets go lounge by the watering hole and get a drink and enjoy the sun." she said softly to the group. She padded through the soft grass and she enjoyed the cool morning breeze, her blue eyes watched Mheetu chase after Vitani and she smiled. She looked over at Simba, "So this is relaxing eh..? I could get use to this peace and quiet." she said giving Simba's cheek a lick.


Mheetu padded a bit behind Vitani making sure she didn't hurt herself or go to fast, he let Nala and Simba go ahead. He felt the breeze blow through his mane and his green eyes stared up at the blue sky, he hoped his mother was watching down on them with a smile. He looked at Vitani, " You've given me everything and more..I love you." he whispered as they saw the watering hole in sight.


Dyanna stood to her paw and stretched her lean body forward, she wasn't a cub anymore. She was finally a young adult and a smile was plastered across her muzzle as she looked at her best friend, "Don't forget me Kiara." she said sitting to her hinds outside the den. She watched the animals of the Pridelands, "The Pridelands have been more then a place to stay, this is my home too." she added with a smile. Her bright blue eyes flickered as the sun got higher and she looked to Kiara, "Promise me you'll be safe and watch over Kopa and Chaka, Don't let them get into to much trouble."

Simba smiled. "It's been too long since we've had peace and quiet, Nala. In fact, I can't even remember when the last time was," he said.
