Kiara's Life

Simba smiled. "What move is this?" he asked as he got into position, briefly remembering the day his father helped him pounce on Zazu when he was a cub.

[Queen Elsa]

"My favorite move." she said, then turned to Kiara. "This is also good for fighting." she replied, then jumped on Simba, doing her pinning move on him again, as always. She laughed and got off him as soon as it was over.

Simba got up and shook the dust out of his fur and mane. "Why you choose to do that to me, I will never know," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala smiled. "Because it's fun to do it with you. I love doing it." she said, then turned back to Kiara. "Would you like to try it now. I know you won't be able to topple your father over, but at least try." she encouraged. Kiara nodded, then started to run up to her dad. She had paid close attention to how her mother did it. When she got close enough, she jumped on her father. She was able to jump up to his shoulders to start it off, but he was too heavy for her, and so she instead flipped over his back and landed flat on the ground, but was unhurt. She looked away from her parents, not wanting them to see her crying at her failure.

Simba went over to her. "Kiara, are you all right?" he asked.

[Queen Elsa]

"I failed! I watched very closely and everything, but couldn't even move you an inch." Kiara sobbed. "I'm a failure!"

Simba frowned. "Kiara, you're not a failure. You're a cub and that was your first try. You just need to keep on practicing and practicing until you get good," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

Kiara brushed up against her dad, trying to make the tears stop. Nala came up and brushed her tail along Kiara's flank. "You'll get the hang of it someday." she said. "In the meantime, how about I teach you how to stalk?"
"Okay." Kiara said. She watched as her mother got down, almost touching the ground, and started walking quietly, then jumping onto a rock as if it were prey.
"Now you try." she encouraged. Kiara did just as her mother had done, and perfected it easily. She then saw a butterfly and went after it. "Don't go too far!" Nala called.
Kiara continued on. Before she knew it, she was by the gorge. She had heard her grandmother tell her about what happened to her father in this gorge. She walked down to see if she could find a scent of where her father might have ran, or where everything happened. She walked over to a rock that was under a tree. It smelled a lot like her father. She looked around everywhere. Then, she jumped down and made a playful roar that echoed around the gorge. She ran back up onto the rock, but it wasn't long before she started seeing loose rocks shaking. She knew what this meant. This had what caused her grandfather Mufasa to die! She became scared and screamed as loud as she could, hoping her parents would hear it.
Nala heard it and turned to Simba. "Simba, come on! I think I just heard Kiara!"

Simba rushed into a run. "Come on, Nala! If we can prevent this from happening again, I will feel better!" he shouted, continuing to run.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala ran after him, but was confused. "Again? What do you mean again?" she asked.
Kiara had ran up the tree above the rock, but knew it wouldn't hold long. She hoped her parents would come soon, before she was killed.
