[Request] Silence Isn't Always Golden

[Misiziri]

Embelva gestured for Lighty to retreat to Pride Rock.

"Come, Lighty."

"Awww... bye, guys!" She parted and followed Embelva and her friend back to Simba's care.

[Maleficent]

As Zira crouched and slipped silently through the grass, she noticed a familiar figure in the distance. It was Lighty! Zira bared her teeth and started after them.

[Misiziri]

Embelva caught the sound of earth shifting beneath Zira's feet.

She instantly turned around and the fight was on.

"Gr.. uck, take Lighty home and bring the others!" she bellowed.

Embelva latched onto Zira's throat with her fangs, but lost her grip.

[Maleficent]

"Too scared to stay and fight?" Zira grinned at Lighty as she pinned Embelva to the ground and laughed, "So much for you talking away my paradise!"

[Misiziri]

Embelva was too big to be taken down completely from Zira. "What flawed logic, Lighty is a cub, you ignorant female!" she roared, pushing Zira off her and pinning Zira to the ground. Again, she bit her throat and this time refusedly shook her head back and forth trying to tear her voice box out.

[Maleficent]

"Ignorant? I am queen, you are the one who is ignorant!" Zira said, reaching up and digging her claws into Embelva's neck, trying to choke her.

[Misiziri]

With claws in Embelva's neck, and her fangs suck into Zira's, the two were suffocating each other to death. Embelva violently shook her head left and right, and successfully bit a small chunk of flesh from Zira's neck, but had not pierced her voice box. Deep claw marks dug into Embelva.

[Maleficent]

Zira wanted to be the one to suffocate Embelva first, but a different idea popped into her head. She quickly released her throat and dragged her claws down Embelva's chest and stomach before pushing her off of her and regaining dominance in the fight.

[Misiziri]

Embelva didn't see this coming, but she, too, had a trick up her sleeve. With great agility, she clawed at Zira's eyes powerfully, blinding her for a moment and allowing the dominace of the fight to shift to neutral. Soon, 4 other lionesses showed up at the scene to assist Embelva, being as old as she was.

[Maleficent]

Zira blinked rapidly when Embelva clawed at her eyes and was momentarily stunned. Zira glared at the now-approaching lionesses and hissed, "Give me back my son and the fight will end."
